Thread: Holy Nausea Batman!

Not sure about anyone else but on Friday night I tried the ginger tea thing.. and I think it really did help me! That could be an option, too.

Oh, ginger tea! My DH made me ginger tea out of fresh ginger ALL. THE. TIME. when I was sick with DS1. It really, really helped, but the relief was so short-lived. I had to sip it all day long.

Speaking of nausea... I haven't had it yet this time, but with DS1, I had this HORRID taste in my mouth constantly. I can't even describe it, I guess I'd say like a metallic taste or something? OMG. Have any of you experienced that? I also mass-produced saliva. When I was home, there were times when I'd just stand over the bathroom sink spitting into it because if I tried to swallow all that excess spit, I was going to barf. It was HORRIBLE. I shouldn't complain this time... It hasn't been anywhere near that terrible (yet). I think it peaked around 9 weeks, then SLOWLY declined and was gone after about 15 weeks.

YES!!!! HORRIBLE taste in my mouth ALL.THE.TIME. Never had this before. It is prob related to the excess saliva, but it certainly doesn't help the nausea

Ugh, it is absolutely horrible, isn't it?!?! I'm glad I don't have it yet, I hope it skips me this time. It was like it went away temporarily if I ate something or brushed my teeth, but it was seriously back in like 5 minutes. So nasty.
