I have been fighting a head cold for about a week and it got worse this weekend. I couldn't get any of the congestion to move until Sunday afternoon and then I was a snotty sneezy mess. Sorry if TMI. I stayed home today to get some rest since DH works weekends (well he actually works everyday) and DS is at daycare. My cold feels better, but now I am puking again. I weighed myself and I am down 3lbs since Friday. That puts me under pre-pregnancy weight again :/
Anyone else not gaining?
I've gained 5 pounds so far.. can't say I've lost any. I'm sorry you're sick though, I hope you start feeling better soon girlie! Are you throwing up bc of your sickness or is it the pregnancy?
Awee I'm sorry you're feeling crappy :( I've gained about 12 total.. which I'm hoping is an indication that I'm NOT going to be on track for 65+ lbs this time! lol..
I hope the time off is quiet and gives you a chance to get the much needed rest for you to re-coup! It's no fun being pregnant and sick :( Tell DH to cook you some soup. :)
The puking is either pregnancy or because of all the phlegm. IDK which. I don't think it is gastro issues at least. Unfortunately DH is working a double today so he could have Thursday off for my appt, so no soup for me, lol. I heard from school that one other person was out sick and another one went home by lunch time. Our teachers are dropping quickly. :(
The flu is going around here :/ it's BAD! I hope that's not it for you. I just got the flu shot last Friday too.. but it takes like 2 weeks to take. Ahh.. I pray I don't get sick. 2 ladies in our office have had it and 2 in our maintenance department. Crazy.
Anyway, I hope it's the pregnancy. That'd be the best of the two. Oh and plus.. the more sick you are the more hCG you could have and that's a GOOD THING.. that could be your princess ;)

Well I am home again today. I still can't keep down food or liquids. I will call the doctor as soon as they open :( Apparently the other people at school do have stomach flu symptoms. I don't have diarrhea and they do, but my stomach is soooo upset. Blah.
I'm sorry, Christine.. that sucks. My little guy had that from a Sunday to Tuesday.. his tummy is still not up to par.
I so hear ya girl. I don't want to put on as much this time either. I'm not sure of the final count but I know I was over 200lbs last time. That was depressing for me. I've only gained 6 in total but 3 were the last 2 weeks, so it's ramping up. I'm at 159 now though so there IS a chance I could stay under 200! I started out weighing less than with DD so *fingers crossed*. I know it's healthy to gain SOME weight but let's not go overboard here!Quote:
