How did the evening go. Was he ok?
Heather, he was fine lol He said noone in his class took a bear and I bet it was because she didn't send a note! I asked him if other kids in Pre-K took theirs and he said yes, he said his cousin (In another Pre-K class) took his. So this morning he took a bear in his backpack and guess what? If she sends a note saying something about it, I'll tell her that I'd appreciate it if she would send notes so we know what day they should take something. I didn't end up sending the note this morning because he was fine and had forgotten about it. But if she says anything, I'll let her know!!
Ok, phew! That's good. I agree, they need to be more pro-active about getting the message out. If I were a teacher I'd either send a note home in a backpack or have all the parents email addresses for notices. It's just silly. I only believe 1/2 of what my daughter tells me!
See, that's how I am too.. kids will tell you anything, only because they're little and may have not understood it correctly.
We will see what happens when I read his comments from his teacher tonight lol
My daughter has yet to figure out how to lie...which is good...but it's only a matter of time! Sometimes her interpretation of things is just wrong because she was confused or something. You need to hear from an adult sometimes!
MY DS just learned how to lie and I'll tell you, it's a big struggle! He will lie and do certain things to get what he wants and it's kinda scary! He outsmarts us most of the time!
Oh my gosh.. so has my DS.. I know it's from hearing his cousins lying or at school. He will tell me he's done putting up his toys and I'll go in there and there they will be, on the floor. The other day, I think Monday, he wanted to go to his nanas and I told him ok but he needed to pick up his toys he had in the livingroom and he fussed about it. Eventually as I was up cleaning or something he started to pick them up and I turned my back and a minute later he said he was done. I knew it didn't take him that long. So I went and looked under our sofa and there they were! Needless to say he didn't get to go to his nanas that day. Lying is just wrong and I know that kids don't know how bad it is but to me, I want to address this early so it doesn't become worse!
 DD has lied to me twice.. once was about her cleaning her room when she said she did and I think the second was about her homework not having gotten done when she said it was. I realllly don't wanna go through a lying phase with DS! lol.. How long do they last??
Adri, who knows lol until they're out of our house and only bc they are in college? Lol
