Thread: In the hospital

Haven't had contractions most of the day. They are upbeat and think I will do just fine off the mag tomorrow. Theron concern it seems is not my dilation but the shortness off my cervix. I will find out tomorrow what bed rest parameters I will be under and what the plan is should things get bad again. Too bad crossing your legs doesn't really help :/

Well, it's good that they think you'll be fine off of the mag. I can't imagine trying to do bed rest when you've already got a LO. I hope that goes as smoothly as possible. Good luck and KUP.

It is noon here and they took me off the mag about 9:30. So far so good and no contractions. Not sure how long we will be here but I think they are going to do the swab to tell if labor is imminent as well.

Well they said I could do the FFN really quick and if it was negative I could go home. Unfortunately the dr was new and didn't know they can't run the test here. They have to send it downtown and it takes 4 hours . Pray it is negative so I can still go home.

Oh wow. Well I hope the test comes back okay. KUP!

Any news?

I am home! The test came back negative to everyone's surprise which I guess means she is not a threat to come in the next two weeks. So I am to take it easy. We have to figure out this new life of one income 3 months sooner than planned and figure out how I take it easy and still have a three year old. I am hoping work will be able to help out and maybe pay me my summer money so we can keep jack at daycare. We will see tomorrow I guess. Thanks for hanging in there with me ladies!

What a wonderful update!!!

So things may be a little tight for a few before she gets here, dealing with the financial stuff but I know you guys are gonna be a-ok! The best thing for all parties is a lot of rest and relaxing to keep her inside as long as possible.
