Thread: I found the heartbeat!!!

Can't believe I found it with my home doppler at 9 weeks!
This is a huge milestone since I haven't had a u/s and doesn't look like I'm going to. Took me awhile to find it but it's definitely there. What a wonderful sound to hear! It is now feeling more real and now it feels worth going through all this m/s.

Aww, Yey! That's so awesome! I need to rent a doppler! I'm just kind of scared to.. but it would bring so much relief.

YES! That's awesome!!! What amazing peace of mind! Great work. I know how hard they are to find that early. I think a lot of the time I was listening to the placenta as my placenta was in front.

I have one I ordered from eBay for my last pregnancy. It's great! I didn't find DD until 10.5 weeks because that's when the thing arrived. Hopefully I can find this bean sooner!

I loved mine! It was my Friday treat with DD. Every Friday morning we'd take it out and listen to her.

I have the same one! It picks up the heartbeat as early as 8-9 weeks. It has the be the 3mhz one to pick up that early though.

Buy one! They keep their resale value pretty well too! I love ours. I've lent it out to a few friends since DD was born and everyone loved it. Definitely worth the money. After exchange and shipping to Canada I paid closer to $100 and I still think it was worth every cent!

Good work Samantha! I'll have to try finding this baby in a couple weeks. I did just see the hb on the u/s yesterday so I'm not super freaked about anything right yet.
