It's the small things...

...like managing to shower while she is sleeping, and doing an entire grocery shop with her asleep in the car seat.

Amazing how life has taken a turn and things I used to take for granted have become huge accomplishments Smile

See my LO doesn't sleep, so I do all those thongs while he just cries. Which means I eat and shower now in under 5 minutes.

Oh Elizabeth. I'm so sorry to hear that. Sad I remember trying to shower while DD was sad...it's never fun. I hope this stage doesn't last too long.

I remember trying to get groceries while DD slept. One time she woke while I was paying and FREAKED out. Her cries echoed through whole store. I was so stressed. Ugh. Not looking forward to that again.

I haven't managed to do much of anything except take care of the kids' needs at this point. I get a shower when DH is home and in between feedings. I think our big accomplishment thus far is Emmy sleeping in her own place. She is sleeping in the Rock n Play, but at this point with Jack we had given up and started co-sleeping. She does well most nights and days sleeping without being held. She has her days of course, where we need to hold her to get her to sleep but overall, she is doing great.

Elizabeth, have you tried wearing him? Obviously you can't do that while showering, but it might make everything else more manageable.
