Okay, mamas! May is literally just hours away now... I'm ready to see some more babies around here! No pressure, lol.
I had my NST after work last night. I had been all crampy and contract-y at work all day, so when I got to my NST, I was excited to see if the contractions would register on the monitor... And they did! I was there about an hour and a half (it takes forever when I have to do it after-hours in L&D) and I contracted regularly the whole time. I didn't think to time them, but they were relatively frequent and kept getting bigger. The nurse wasn't really mentioning them, though, so I assumed they weren't big enough to get too excited about. Finally at the end, she asked me if I felt any contractions. I told her I was, and that some of them were getting a bit uncomfortable. She told me to keep an eye on them and come back in if they got to 3 minutes apart or I couldn't breathe through them.
I came home all excited, hoping this was it. ...And then they stopped. :WTF: I was so PO'ed, hahaha.
So anyway, today has been less exciting. A contraction here and there, but nothing remotely regular and nothing all that painful. Grrrr... I've never gone into labor on my own (my other two were inductions), so I was all excited, but no-go. Maybe I'll get lucky here soon. I see my OB tomorrow and he wants to schedule to induce me next week. I'm not really enthusiastic about it, so we'll see how it goes.
