Oo yay belly! Lets see a pic!

My weekend was alright. A lot of laundry!

The week is gonna suck! I am a third class, I'm all healed up. Dr recommended waiting two periods to get pregnant but he said if we were to get pregnant sooner it'd most likely be fine. have to prepare a talk for church, I teach a Sunday school class that I need to prepare for, have to write a letter to my land lord... Etc. ugh

I worked a little bit Saturday and then sat on my butt for the rest of the day. Sunday, I cleaned..sat down...cleaned...sat down. The cleaning periods were short, the sit down periods...not so much LOL But I got done MOST of what I wanted to get done. Today was hard on my body. I have a certain vendor who just puts her freight up, but I have to check in every single box. I have to open every box, take one item out, scan it, and put it back. So, it takes awhile. She usually helps me, but she was running late. Well, she had some kind of heavy stuff and ...I don't think I "hurt" myself, but my hoo-hah felt a little worse than usual afterwards. I also found out I made a mistake at work, so I'm trying to get it fixed without too many questions being asked. Of course, every time I try to email someone, either the email gets returned or the person says I need to email someone ELSE. UGH. Things were so much easier when we had a "home office" in my state and not just the "home office" of my parent company, across the US.
Anywho, today has been kind of interesting. I can feel baby girl moving around plenty when I sit down but I think that today is the first day I've been able to REALLY feel her while I'm standing up.

Take it easy, Jessica! My DH won't even let me carry many of the grocery bags anymore. But I if I do some strenuous, I can tell that I hurt or get sore! Man, pregnancy loves our bodies LOL It's just amazing to think that we can create life and nourish it, etc. Amazing.

What a weekend did I have!
I am on the East Coast and we got slammed with the huge snowstorm Fri/Sat. We must have gotten about 12" of snow when all was said and done. Oh, but before that came, my DH had a brutal dental procedure Friday morning (they've found a cyst on his jaw so they had to do a biopsy) - he was in horrible pain and is still very swollen from it, pretty miserable actually... we have to wait until next Thursday morning for the biopsy results and then find out the treatment from there....

And did I mention that DS2 woke up Friday morning covered in hives? He has no known allergies and has never had a reaction like this before. 4 days later he still has the hives. I've been giving him Benadryl and Claritin which def seem to help with the itching but the poor boy is covered in scratches now too! I'm hoping another day or two and the hives will disappear...

So needless to say it has been nothing close to dull around these parts :bonkself:

I was more productive this weekend than I have been the whole pregnancy...I cleaned my master bathroom! LOL In my defense, it was REALLY dirty and took me hours. Unfortunately my whole house needs to be cleaned that well. Sad I have not done much this pregnancy because by the time I get home from work and it is the weekends I am in recovery mode or too sick to function. But I am feeling better mentally and physically for the most part so hopefully I will be able to tackle one area per weekend. Oh, and we bought the recliner too. So that was a step in the right direction. I did lesson plans, laundry, and cooking on top of that and of course took care of Jack since DH works all weekend too.

Mine is getting bigger too!!!! But I keep getting comments on how I look like I am losing weight. I have yet to see the scale go up even one pound and while most ladies would be ecstatic to hear that they look like they are losing weight it is a bit unnerving when pregnant :/

Christine, when my mom was here for the baby shower, she was behind me and she commented on how small my butt is getting. I haven't gained anything this pregnancy...my belly is finally starting to look pregnant, but I cover it up at work because there's no heat where I work.

I'm secretly hoping when I pop the baby out, I magically lose like 50 lbs LOL

You don't have to secretly hope. It is probably reality (not 50 of course). With Jack I had gained 15lbs by 30 weeks and then I had GD and lost 5 before he was born. So I was 10lbs above pre-pregnancy. Right after birth (maybe a week) I was about 20lbs below pre-pregnancy. Then after pumping I dropped another 10 or 15. Then it took me about 6months to gain it all back Wink Ha ha

Yaeli, I hope those hives go away soon.. poor little buddy!

Christine, I need to start cleaning my house too.. especially my closet. I need to de-clutter and make room for baby's clothes. Since he's going to room with us for a while I definitely need to make room in our walk in for his clothes. This is going to be the biggest job for me Lol.. but I think here in a couple of weeks I will do it.

Jessica, I hope so too.. with DS, at 7 weeks pp I was below pre-pregnancy weight! I hope it's that fast and easy again haha.

Oh and I have almost gained all I "should" gain too.. oh well!

Ladies, my very good friend is having her son today, I am SO excited! I told her I would go and see them tomorrow. I know how hectic the day of can be.. I was out of it and didn't want to get dressed. Just cuddle my baby Smile

So what do you all plan on doing? Are you going to welcome anyone and everyone the day of or wait? I think we will let only family visit the day of and everyone else the next day.

We won't call anyone til we are in the hospital or after baby is born. Well I say that, but we still have to figure out what is going to happen with Jack. The inlaws live 7 hours away (at least because they have to stop every hour for something to eat apparently according to DH), so I won't have to worry about unwanted company too soon. Hopefully, if I have a more normal experience, I won't mind so much if people are there day after. My inlaws showed up next day after they had taken Jack to the children's hospital and his mom was really insensitive.

That being said, I am hoping my mom can stay a while and help with Jack and cooking. I am planning my menu of carbs, lol.

In other news, one of my student's mom just had a baby 2 weeks ago and she brought her in today. She was so teeny and beautiful. Can't wait for May!

Christine, I bet. I'm going to visit my friend today, she had her baby yesterday and I know once I hold that little sweet boy, May won't be able to get here fast enough!

Maddie, really? Well I hope they don't! I've never been snowboarding.. but it looks like fun and a little hard too lol

Who is ready for Valentine's Day tomorrow?? I still have to work on DS' Valentine's for his class.. all I need is to get some candy to tape on to them. Plus get DS something and finish up DH's gift too! I've procrastinated TOO much this time.

Oh, I have to finish my DS1 Valentines Day cards. He picked batman and am attaching airhead candy to it. That way i can eat some too!

I have to go to the Chiropractor this morning and I get DS1 adjusted too. Taking 2 boys is no easy task. Oh well.. Thats the only important thing I really have to do today.

I'm supposed to have a 3-day weekend but boss man is making us work Sunday AND Monday Sad This is getting old! lol..

How did everyone's V'day go?? Biggrin (Or did I miss this one? )

I think DH and I are going to work on the crib tomorrow since it's getting to be a month-ish since it's come in and we REALLY need to determine if all the parts are there. lol..

Other than that, not much! Chillin on Saturday.. working on Sunday. No rest for the weary! :biglaugh:

DH said we could work on the crib tonight, but I don't forsee that happening. The man works an hour away and he's working ten hour days, so in essence it's 12 hours a day that he's gone. (and sometimes he's got school after that.) When he gets home, he just wants to sit down and eat and take it easy. He's usually only up for maybe 3 hours before he's ready for bed. Tonight, we've got just a little bit of running around to do, so by the time we get back home - I highly doubt we'll see any success on the crib-putting-together.
I have to work for a little bit tomorrow morning and then I might go hang out with a friend. Part of me wants to hang out, the other part doesn't want to drive that far, but I'll have *my* car and I really want to get a carseat for it while I can. I'd have to go by her house to get to Babies R Us anyway. However, I'd like to be able to take DH with me, since I really don't want to lug carseats in and out of BRU...so I dunno what I'm going to do.
Sunday I'll more than likely be lazy all day.

Can I just say that I'm getting highly irritated? My friend wants me to do her taxes, but she just wants to "drop off' her W2 and I told her no, she's got to stay, it'll only take like 15 minutes. But that she needed to be out by 430 because DH and I have plans tonight. So it's 350, she's supposedly on her way here WITH her boyfriend. I'm like seriously?? You can't crawl out of his @ss for 15 minutes? And do you NOT understand what be OUT by 430 means?? WTH? I'm doing HER a favor - and once again I'm getting walked all over.

:laughing4: You're so cute when you realize the change in fruit, mama! Biggrin Too funny! Wink

We had our 4D U/S last night.. a little disappointed because this little man had his feet all up in his face.. the cord was all over, too so getting many good shots was pretty tricky.. we got a couple cute ones of his face, his leg and feet.. and one to confirm his winky. lol.. He opened his eyes a couple times, too.. was just nuts. I'll scan and post some soon.

Have to go get my acorn squash today for my pic.. took that one last night so it's ready to roll..

Rented The Watch movie and passed out about halfway into it - at 8pm.

DH was up all night so he's still sleeping.. gonna be a lazy day!

Wow, Jessica. Reminds me of a friend whose bf tags along with her to everything. We can't have a girls lunch anymore bc of it. Ridiculous!!

Adriana, I can't wait to see the pics!! Love the 3D/4D pics, they're so amazing!

We are going out to lunch with friends and them grocery shopping and cleaning. DS is going to a Church activity and will be home about the time we get back. It's pretty cold and dreary today. So I'm thinking soup for dinner!

Adriana- sorry your little man didn't show his face much. I have done 3D u/s with both boys at 29 weeks and one was great the other didn't turn out well. It really just depend on how the are positioned. I am doing one again at 29 weeks so hopefully baby will be good!

I must be starting the nesting stage alittle early, I am feeling like I need to clean clean clean! But, I want to use heavy cleaner and get the stuff that doesnt get cleaned very often done, so I am offering the cleaning to DH tomorrow and I will take the boys out of the house for a little bit... isn't that nice of me?!? haha

We had a baby expo in our town today so I took DS2 to it and it was fun! Got a ID card made for him and a free picture! Looked at all the new baby stuff coming out and entered alot of contests for free stuff. They also had a diaper dash contest if your baby is crawling... so I think next year baby will be crawling so I can enter it. I can win free diapers for a year!!
We are going on date night tonight! We always just do dinner and a movie, but I guess it's better then nothing.

I bought a stroller today. I had my heart set on a Phil&Teds, but the more I looked the more I liked this: Graco? Ready2Grow? LX Stand & Ride Stroller?-?buybuy BABY

I already have a graco infant carseat that will attach to it and it will change into so many configurations it will really transition with us. It has higher weight limits than most strollers, pushes nicely, folds up easily, and is not that heavy for a tandem. It doesn't seem a whole lot longer than the Phil&Teds and it has snack trays and a bigger basket underneath. I also had a 20% off coupon making it 160 so not too bad. I have two single strollers to sell now so hopefully I will get a little back.

BUT, I tried to order a new carseat cover for DS's infant seat and it was going to cost 63 dollars to get it from Graco. I could spend a few dollars more and get a new carseat and have an extra base. DH is not going to approve the purchase of a new carseat so I will have to make due with the stained one we already have Sad (I know I know, a complete white whine!) LOL

A new car seat cover was that much??? Yeah a whole new carseat could be cheaper.. where did you look? I know Amazon might be a little less?

I'm actually looking at something to buy with a 20% off coupon, just to use it. lol.. Alas, nothing right now. DH keeps saying to just wait until after the shower.. and he's right!

I actually looked at the graco ready to grow stroller too! it was the only "double" that wasn't like 10 feet long!!! Not sure it will work with the carseat I am getting but I like that baby can ride facing you when they are alittle older.

I have the iPad regular size.. LOVE it!

DD got the kindle - it's sooo dang small!

Personally, I'd go for the ipad regular.. I use it mainly to watch TV when I'm in the tub soaking/ relaxing.. and I want a "big screen" in my bathtub! :biglaugh:

My mom loves the big one because it's so much easier to see.. Smile

Saturday I cancelled the plans we had with MIL because it was snowing and I thought it was going to get bad. It didn't get bad - so DH was mad at me for the rest of the day and hardly spoke because I cancelled the plans. (It was just dinner, but I guess he was looking forward to taking his mom out.)

Sunday.. um.. actually I don't remember what I did Sunday. I know I clogged the kitchen sinks. Oopsie. lol

Erm.. see what happened was.. I was making sloppy joes and I was letting the hamburger drain. I always always always have the hot water on while I'm draining hamburger so the grease will go down the drain as a liquid. Well, my dumb@ss turned it off for some reason.

Next day? Yep, DH was taking apart the S pipe - showed it to me. Grease! :busted:
He fixed it though. (He TRIED to get away with pouring Drain-O down the sink, I was like....um..honey?? the sink is full of water, I don't think that's going to work well.)

OMG Jessica. That is funny and not funny at the same time. We pour grease into a old pickle jar or something and when it gets full we toss it in the trash. Even if you run hot water, the grease will still build up quickly over time so we just do the jar instead.

I liked the stroller better too because it wasn't so long. I am super excited to use it and am thinking I might have to put it together soon to calm myself down, lol. 13 more weeks! (at most Wink )

I get my OLD Navy shipment tomorrow!!! I am seriously hoping they don't change their minds at my next u/s and tell me I am really having a boy, ROFL

When I went to BuyBuyBaby to look at the strollers, I just went around a tried the carseat they had on the stroller. Maybe that is an option for you. I know you could do that at BRUS too. I read a review that said it took other carseats so it probably will. The way it clicks in is just a little snap on the back of the carseat and then it has two straps that tuck in the seat belt openings on the sides to stabalize it. I don't see why that wouldn't fit most carseats.

Ok.. I'm thinking my decision for an online registry was a little dumb.. It's a week before my shower and only 2 things have been purchased off of it. I'm wondering if most people will wait till the last minute to buy something and then it won't be here in time.. Or they will go get just anything and it won't be what we want and we'll end up buying everything we want / need on our own. Sad

Just venting..

Adriana, sometimes people don't even look at that.. so I am not going to register and just have my friend put that I basically need everything.. bc I do.. I am waiting til after my shower to get what I don't have that I need.

I'm sorry :/ You never know though.. sometimes people wait til the day before to get the present!
