Let's talk turkey..

This is my non-rational, rational thinking. Lol

It's January. I can't count May because I'm due at the very beginning.. this leaves February, March and April.

Baby boy is gonna be here before we know it!!!!!!!

I am technically due at the end of May, but I have been having the same OMG moments. From my research on antibodies, very few pregnancies go past 36 weeks, which would put me at the beginning of May. But the most aggressive cases (which hopefully mine won't be, so far, so good), deliver around 30-34 weeks. That puts me end of March into April O.O I don't even know the sex yet!

None of that is for sure, but has been going through my mind as possibilities. What I do know for sure is that I won't go past 39 weeks which means I am now half-way there.

We don't really have anything to buy. Anything we do buy would be wants and not needs. Of course if this does end up being a girl, pink clothes are then considered needs and not wants Wink ha ha ha

With DD, I borrowed the crib from my aunt.. and the dresser, I sold when I was convinced I wasn't going to have any more kids. lol.. Plus with it being a boy, it's a first so we're starting from scratch here. Lol

Halfway there! I don't even know what I want as far as a crib yet. I think we will start looking sometime this month and see what we decide on. Noah had a bassinet and then ended up in our bed. This baby won't so we definitely need to figure it out. It's already January but seems so far away to me still lol

We have the crib options narrowed down to 4.. I'm just watching for sales now. Smile We'll be happy with any of them.. just need the right price! Smile

I hear ya. I'm due in April, but at the beginning, so you can't count that. Even though it's the beginning of January, we've already started it ...so you can't count that either (haha). This is going by so fast.

SEE??? THIS is my logic! Lol You can't count something that has already started.. nor what is at the end. lol.. Only what's in between. Lol

Ugh, our crib was SO expensive but being a crazy pg woman at the time I had to have it. I still love it! This is it here:

It will work for a boy too, right? Blum 3

We need some other things too...see, I bought a lot of things used and sold them for the same (or more) than I paid for them. The list I can remember off the top of my head are: crib mattress, breast pump, breastfeeding pillow, swing, exersaucer, bouncy chair, baby bathtub, hummm...and probably a few more newborn sized cloth diapers. Ok, I'm sure there are more things, I just can't remember.

I keep thinking the same thing... I'm due May 1st, and I usually go early... So if I go 2 weeks early than that's mid April... no time at all now! This pg is FLYING by for me!!!! And I got rid of allllll my baby stuff but especially AAAALLLL my lil boy stuff so we are starting over from scratch too. The main thing I NEED is a swing. We co sleep, breast feed, and co bathe. Oh I would like to get some cloth diapers for this one, I didn't start those w/ dd until she was around 4 months old or so.

Hahah, you girls are funny. We still have almost all of January left too. Wink

Sorta OT.. But I *LOVE* being pregnant this time of year. I like it to be somewhat cold during morning sickness (being hot would just make it worse, I think), then I like it to be warm out by the time I'm huge (but not necessarily hot), so I can do plenty of walking to try to get things moving along. I'm looking forward to the 3rd trimester in Spring. I sorta had that with DS1, but he was due late June, so the weather was definitely hot and summery by the end (I spent a lot more time with swollen ankles/feet).

I love you ladies' positive outlooks. I'm on the other end - ugg, I have four months left and already got the "you look ready to pop" comment. And I say four months because I count all of Jan, Feb, Mar and Apr because I always go late and it's best for me to just plan that ahead of time.

Hahaha Adriana you're funny! I guess I'll make it; I have no choice right? And I always tell myself I love being pregnant and I do, I really do but I just feel like I'm already close to my "too huge" stage and I'm not even 30 weeks yet! But I do look awesome; my confidence is higher when I'm pregnant because I have big boobs and my tummy is supposed to look big, lol!

Oh Vicki, you're feeling huge already. Is it going to be that soon for me? I was hoping to make it a while longer till I felt huge...our trip is when I'm 26 weeks and I'd like to be spry for it. LOL!

Well I'm *almost* feeling huge I guess. I still feel good overall, but I'm getting there. Plus, I carry all up high and in front because I have such a short torso so I just get bigger. From what I remember from K, you didn't carry too high or too all up in front did you? I wouldn't worry too much!

Here I am at 35 weeks with Noel. I don't think I took a 40 week one although I wish I had. I really look like I swallowed a beach ball. Sorry for the bunny trail!

HA HA, thanks. It didn't seem big at the time...but in hind-sight, it was huge.

LOL Vicki...totally swallowed a beach ball! So cute! I love how everyone's bellies are so different. I think it is sandraleigh on the June board who has a VERY out front belly. Hard to believe she didn't fall over!

Hehe, I know it's crazy how everyone carries so differently. Good thing about me is that I don't gain weight anywhere except my stomach. Although that makes it all the more harder to lose that tummy weight afterwards!

My driver's license picture is from 38 weeks with Micaiah and you can tell my face is a little puffy. And I will probably keep the picture for as long as we're in this state because I'm too lazy to wait in line for a new picture!

I know someone who barely shows in her stomach. She says she grows the other way - through her butt! I swear, she showed me her bare stomach at 20 weeks along and there was NO bump. Crazy!
I think the main thing is that no matter how much you gain and where, you can lose it afterward. I would much rather gain a ton of weight and then lose it all afterward than gain not as much but then still keep 5 lbs and a super saggy stomach which is what I do... trying really hard not to let that happen this time around!!
