SO I've started telling people at work (I work in an elementary school office) about the pregnancy, and obviously word is spreading because many times I'll walk past someone and they will give the quick glance down to my belly... you know 'that' look as if they can check if it's really true? LoL - makes me laugh, and glad people know it's not just me getting fat (because I seriously look like i've eaten too many donuts! ...which I actually did yesterday )...

Love that people look to know for sure if your pregnant, haha. For some reason if I see a pregnant woman I look away real quick so they don't think I'm starring, even though I like to look because I think it's beautiful. Not sure if I've gotten the look yet. I think I am still in the stage *is she pregnant or did she not lose the baby fat*
Aww that's cool! Hey.. indulge yourself sometimes
I was at Qdoba and a lady looked at me, looked at my belly, looked at me again with a weird look on her face. It was kinda... weird. I know that I still look like I'm in highschool so I am expecting judgemental looks... With Riley when I was 17/18 and looked like I was no older than 15 (some thought younger) I got awful looks. At least I am older this go around and hopefully it will be different...
What's really funny is when someone tries to sell something at our house, they are like "are your parents home" I just say no they arn't sorry! haha. That's what they get for assuming. To their credit, we have a huge house and in no way does it look like 2 young adults could own it.
If I'd had my kids younger I'd have gotten that too. When I was in my early 20s I worked in a store in the mall. On several occasions I had old ladies say to me "Shouldn't you be in school?". Rude much? My standard reply was "I graduated 3 (4, 5) years ago actually!" That sure shut them up fast. Man, people can be so judgmental!
Samantha- I used to get that at the front door all the time too. I'd say "Well I'm not sure, you'd have to go to THEIR house and find out." Ba ha ha! I love stickin' it to em'. :P
I also get looks because I look so young. I am THIRTY, but look like a teenager. Everyone says I'll love it when I get older, but I think it's pretty stupid that I get carded at a rated R movie. When I broke the news to family - an aunt and my grandmother (moms side), said... "already?" .. We had only been married 2 months. But I had already had two miscarriages before we even got married. So.. people can be seriously rude with stuff coming out of their mouths. I did wonder at one point if this baby is sticking because I wasn't immediately stressed about telling family, because I KNEW they'd judge if I wasn't married.
Not young enough for me to question, "Why is she having kids so young!!" by any means but you have a young face.
