    Question Lunch ideas anyone?

I'm tired of having to go grab something at lunch daily.. well, just about. I am really not a leftovers person while pregnant lol. I'm ok with them when I'm not. I'm ok with say having leftover chicken and make a shredded chicken sandwich for lunch but not for just taking the same dinner for lunch I had the night before.

Any ideas? I especially need quick ones I can just prepare the night before or prepare in bulk and take to work. I have some canned tuna that I'm thinking about making a tuna pasta salad with.. but then I know I shouldn't eat too much tuna because of the mercury levels.

I guess it depends on your cravings, but if it were me I would probably take a PB&J, chicken salad, or egg salad. Those healthy choice meals are good too if you have a microwave. For snack ... fresh fruit, veggies with ranch, crackers and cheese spread.

I'm so glad I work from home. Lunches are such a pain.

If you have a microwave or kettle I'd probably take noodles or something to heat up and eat warm. I'm not a sandwich girl at all.

I bring things like bagel bites.. tortillas and cheese (and dip it into the jar of jalapeno juice ).. sandwiches, too.. I soooo don't cook. I'm no help..

But I do have some simple recipes at home for stuff that is AWESOME leftover! And I'm not a leftover kind of girl anytime.. preggo or not.

I like adding grapes to chicken salad, don't know why but it's good. I just made a cheese spread that is so easy! You just mix a bag of shredded cheddar cheese and a bag of mozzerella and mix it with a half a container of green goddess dressing. You can add onion and tomato to it too but don't have too. Chips and salsa is another favorite of mine. I know none of these are meals but very filling!

Well crap, my suggestion was going to be to cook massive dinners and eat the leftovers for lunch. Hahaha, that's what I've been doing. the other night, I made 2 HUGE pots of veggie soup with beef, and today I'm about to eat it for like the 4th and 5th time, lol... I struggle with cooking small, normal-sized meals. I guess I'm just practicing for the years when I have 3 teenagers, at least two of which are boys, haha.
