DH changed his mind several times when I was pregnant with DS, and then finally settled on his name about two weeks before I had him. Annoyed me endlessly.

I like Austen Alexander though! Which part does he want to change or wanting to change all of it?

He says he sees Austin everywhere.. it's more common than he thought. I tols him it's like buying a car.. once you own one, you see them EVERYWHERE.. it's not until you're looking that you see it.

Twitty husband! Lol

He's tossed out Bram Alexander.. I'm not 100% sold on it, though. Guess it's back to the drawing board! Lol..

Bram? Like...the author of Dracula? Smile That would be awesome! Although.. I kinda like Austin better. Not that you were asking for my 2 cents, but there they are anyway.

MIL called me the other day and asked me how I was going to spell Julie. Um. Julie. LOL

Yuppers! That's the Bram.. it was on the "to consider" list a couple months ago.. but we watched Bram Stoker's Dracula last night so I think that's why it kinda hung on him a little more..

He cordially reminds me that people have babies all the time and don't have a name for them yet.. I told him we will NOT be "those" people. :biglaugh:

I really like Austin, common or not....I'm just not sold on it with your last name. I really have a freaky thing about rhyming. Weird, I know.

Yikes! That's scary when you think you are set on a name, then the other starts throwing out other names! I haven't seen Austin on the Top 100 list so I wouldn't think it's to popular, and you're absolutely right that once you pick something, you see it everywhere!
I don't even want to say where our name choices are at right now, it's not looking good at all! lol

Yes, AJ is super cute! They named my brother thinking they'd call him DJ but never did. Funny how that happens.

I have a T.J but never use it either. I do call him T sometimes.

OMG, something is in the water because I texted DH a question about the baby and when he saw Emeline in written form he questioned the spelling. So we went through about a week before he decided that he really liked the name still so he gave into my spelling. His name list was Emma, Lillian, and Olivia. I liked Emeline and he figured that was a good combo of Emma and Lillian and then Olivia for a middle. So all his names were used, he could at least compromise on the spelling. Biggrin I was so stressed out that we were going to have to find another name.

With my first, we picked a name very quickly and that was that...we knew her name for months before she was born. So when we couldn't solidify a decision with my second, it made me CRAZY!!! However, I loved looking at him before finalizing his name in the end and now we aren't going to make a for sure decision until we meet this little guy either. Had we picked DS's name earlier, it likely wouldn't have been the one we picked in the end and his name is PERFECT for him!

Just trying to put a positive spin in your situation Wink I can imagine that's really frustrating though.
