I'm gonna kick this m/s in the butt before it gets me!! Lets hope! It was horrible last time!!!

This is what I got
Ginger ale
pepermint tea
ginger tea
crackers
watermelon
soup
B 6
Ensure
unisom
More crackers!

buying pepermint oil online, I have seabands and getting anti nasuea meds too!

I need some sea bands!

I love ginger ale.. lol weird huh? Blum 3 I'm actually having a good day today, no nausea and I wonder of the nausea and vomiting was all just part of that virus I had! I was lucky and didn't have a lot with DS!

Jealous of you ladies that don't have it that bad! It always hits me bad at around 6 weeks and usually can't even get out of the house until almost week 12.

Sea bands are amazing! They help alot! I like ginger ale but not when I have m/s! I will give it another try though!

That is quite a list! I haven't had any m/s yet. Thinking back to DS, it didn't kick in til week 7 or 8. I tried seabands with him and I thought they were a joke. I also has a mint aversion so I had to get orange flavored toothpaste. The only thing that worked were Jolly Ranchers. I ate bags and bags of these cause I was miserable til 24 weeks Sad

Mental note to self - get the jolly ranchers left over from the wedding out of the pantry and prepare them for work tomorrow.

CHECK! Biggrin

I just bought some smoothie jolly ranchers. I think they work better then the preggie pops.

I feel like death all the time, blech. My nurse recommended that I try pepcid (and vitamin B6, but I was already taking that) and it really does seem to help a bit. My DH makes me tea from fresh ginger, which helps especially to cleanse the palette when I get that "yuck" taste in my mouth. I just wish I were past the peak of it and back on the downhill slide already. I hate knowing that I still have a few weeks for it to probably get worse before it gets better.

So sorry you dont feel good! When do you usually start feeling better? I usually am better by week 12. I will definitely try the ginger tea even though I hate ginger.

This pregnancy is really similar to my one with DS1... I didn't feel better until 15-16 weeks (OMG, shoot me now). With DS2, I got lucky and wasn't really nauseated at all. They're all different, I guess! I hope I feel better sooner than 15-16 weeks this time.

Mary - You're putting a damper on my "it's different this time so it must be a different gender" theory. Lol

Are you wanting a boy? If so, and you get another girl and I get another boy, we can just trade... deal? haha just kidding! Boys are easy!

Aww, I hope you both feel better. I didn't have bad m/s with Noah and it's not too terrible this time either. I read somewhere that if your mother, grandmother, etc. had it bad you will more than likely too as well as if you had it bad with a previous pregnancy!

I want another boy!! I want my son to have a brother!!

I'm copying down these ideas!! With DS the only thing that would stay down in the first trimester was bananas. I have no idea why! My grandma has 9 kids and said sometimes the MS was terrible and sometimes she never had it at all so after what I endured last time I'm hoping it won't be at all for me!!

Having 2 boys in a row is awesome. DS2 just turned one and they are already best buds! Wrestling and playing in dirt! So much fun! Not sure how 3 boys would be but I am sure I'll find out soon! haha

I know DH wants a boy to carry on the family name.. but I don't care. Smile Either way.. I'd be happy with a boy so I could buy all new baby stuff. ROFL

 I'd probably buy all new baby stuff if it's a girl, though.. Lol

I kept everything from DS1 and still had to buy all new baby clothes for DS2 cause it was the opposite end of the season. This time I am going back to DS1's season so now I have to find all that stuff. Probably will buy more new cause its fun!

With baby items, they have updated things so much and had so many recalls that you almost have to get new items. Even the bombo seat was recalled! silly!
