What has helped you most with nausea??
Snacks in between meals helps me some.. chewing MINT gum, sucking on hard candy, COLD COLD water or ice. Taking a nap also helps.. haha at least for that moment while I'm asleep
Sleeping. Hands down.. it's the only way I've been able to pass time.. which is what I need to get past it. Nothing else helped..
Nothing really helped for me. Keeping busy so I didn't think about how sick I was helped the most. everything else FAILED ME! lol
Eating small portions of fresh fruit often.
Sometimes sucking on ginger mints or eating Smarties-type candy.
Peppermint life savers, lemonade, and just listening to my body in what it wanted to eat. As long as I ate what I felt like eating I was ok.
Erm... Zofran? LOL
Funny that a lot of you say mint or peppermint helps. I can NOT stomach anything mint. I had to switch my toothpaste to either cinnamon which burns my tongue or orange. I have to get "bubblegum" flavored gum, even though I usually go with mint.
I had a mint aversion with my last pregnancy! This time it is peanut butter. And believe me, that is a tough one for me. Think about it...Halloween & Reeses Cups. What a downer! LOL
Getting to the second trimester
Zofran!! Except my insurance has apparently cut me off, so I'm PO'ed. Today will be my first day going to work without it, so I'm nervous. At least I work in a pharmacy, so I could always get my rx and just pay out of pocket for some if I'm desperate.
Others... Phenergan (but I don't like it as well as zofran), mint gum, ice cold water (small sips), eating every 2 minutes, sleeping it off.
ETA: I forgot, I've been taking pepcid and vitamin B6 sometimes too.
