Valentine's Day is coming up.. do you celebrate? If so, what do you plan on doing this year for your loved one(s)?

I asked DH what he wanted for V-day and he said "Nothing. But what's my budget for you?" :love10: AWEEE!!! What a guy! Biggrin I told him to cap it at about 10 bucks.. get DD and myself a cute little heart valentine or candy peanut butter cup or something and we'll be super happy! Biggrin

Other than the rare occassion (Thanks Jessica for listening to my rant last night! ROFL ), he's a pretty "Valentine-y" guy throughout the year with helping out and supporting me with work and DD and the dog, etc. Wink

Aww Smile

I plan on telling DH not to get me anything, my birthday was not long ago and he went all out on that.. but I do want/need some new VS bras so I plan on that being my Valentine's. However, I DO ant some chocolate LOL If anything, a small box of chocolates, please. My chocolate goes a long way and lasts me 6 months, no kidding. I'll eat one when I get a craving and last year it lasted 6 months. Although.. this might be gone faster this time HAHA.

I plan on doing something "homemade" for him Smile

We don't do a ton for VD. We'll maybe go out to dinner or something, but in our older years, we don't even do it on the day of because it's such a pain in the butt. We'll go sometime that week, hahaha. Actually this year, I work 2pm-10pm on VDay. Romantic. Wink

We don't usually do anything, for any holiday. And our anniversary is coming up (and this will say a lot) but I am not sure what day it is, we usually get to the end of the month and DH will say something about how we forgot our anniversary yet again.

Adriana - you're welcome!! ANYtime! you're always there for me!!!

Valentines Day usually is kinda crappy. I find these really thought out gifts and DH brings me an unsigned card and some weird chocolate. (I think he gets me and his mom confused because she really likes dark chocolate - I can tolerate it, but I'd rather have milk chocolate). ...and it's all usually still in the bag from wherever he stopped off at on the way home. I told him to not forget about me this VD and he's like...do I ever? Errr, well noooo... LOL And - it's not even that I want a huge budget spent on me, I'm FINE with chocolate and a card ...but I really really wish he'd sign it and write something super sappy in there. Smile

Lol, I like dark chocolate Smile I really like any kind really. But I can only eat a piece or two at a time. My DH is good about writing.. a lot of the times he writes more in them than I do!

I love those Lindor truffles.. mmmmm.. I need to hint those LOL

Valentines day. We are going to celebrate. I think I am giving DH a coupon book that I'm making.. and if he gets the Xbox working this week he said he wants a remote controller or game. .. lol

We are going to do a Date night too.. so we'll go out to dinner and probably watch a movie.

Ooohhh a date night sounds wonderful. DH never knows when he's going to be off on the weekend and if he's not, he gets home so beat and tired I'm lucky to get him to sit up on the couch and eat dinner. Plus, since we live in the boonies, to go anywhere other than Applebees and a knock off Waffle House, we'd have to travel.
