Since I am having a c-section.. not being able to see what is going on is what freaks me out. I hope Lucas cries and cries LOUD when he is born lol

Transition is made to sound very scary. I'm also afraid of tearing. Oh and pooping. I'm not cool with someone seeing me poop. I hope I get stuck in a trance and don't care what's going on down there.

I always had the fear or pooping too. Like.. UGH.. but you know they always say it's normal and normal for doctors to see that stuff.. just imagine though some people get asked if medical students can watch. I would totally say 'No, sorry!" lol.

Let's see, the part I'm scared of the most? The ENTIRE THING.

Ummmmmmm... I'm not sure any part of the DELIVERY process freaks me out.. just the not knowing when he's coming and if I'll have time to get the hospital. DD was born in about 2 hours, start to finish.. everyone says to camp out at the hospital this time cuz I most likely won't make it. lol..

Probably the pushing part - I pushed for an hour with DD (first vaginal birth) and I tore a LOT. I really don't want to tear like that again and I'm really hoping this baby comes out in like 2 pushes or something.

I don't think longer pushing times mean more tears - I've actually heard the opposite. I also pushed for an hour but with no tearing. My doc put almond oil and had me take my time so that I wouldn't tear.

Transition was a bit more intense - but I went into a crazy trance for it which was nice. I was practically asleep.

I don't look forward to peeing AFTER delivery. That part seriously sucked!

Yeah, they were really careful with stretching my perineum and everything but I still had an almost 2nd degree tear. This time I'm trying to stretch my perineum ahead of time. I also have varicose veins of the vulva (yeah, just as great as it sounds) which I think makes me more susceptible to tearing.
