Relieved!

I had my 1st ultrasound yesterday d/t the spotting I was having. I got to see the little bean and it's HB was 180. I remember the first time I heard DS's it was 179! They couldn't find any reason for the spotting & I'm so relieved!!! She did confirm my due date @May 30th though so I've had to fall back a few days! I was a week early with DS and I have a feeling I'll be early this time too. We hadn't told DS up until this point but after I came out of the hospital he must have figured it out because he said, "Mama, did God put a baby inside your belly?"

Yay for a good strong heartbeat! Glad you got to see your bean and put some worries aside! Cute comment from your DS.I haven't told mine yet, but my oldest is suspecting something is going on.

Yay for a great appointment!!! And love the comment from your son! Hoping my kids will accept that explanation too about how the baby got in my belly. Holding out on telling them as long as possible!

@ Yaeli - Do u mean there's another way for babies to get inside there?? LOL!!

@ Maddie - At least you still have lot's of time to get your son prepared. Mine has been asking for a brother or sister for years, he always says he wants someone to play with. He tells me all the time, "If I had a brother or sister I would teach them to play soccer, I would read them my books, I would show them how to play race cars.....". I'm sure the reality will hit when the baby comes and it can't do any of those things for along time but for now it's good. Maybe you can suggest things he'll be able to teach the baby to make him feel grown up.

Lara, I am trying to encourage it. He's just having a hard time because it's a lot of change. Getting married and a new baby. He doesn't wanna loose his mama is all. But we definitely talk about the positives. he used to want a sibling. I'm sre he'll warm up to it. lol especially since i told him he won't have to share his room. lol
