    Default Searching for Swing

We have a Bright Starts portable swing from when DD was little. She HATED it which really sucked because I was hoping the swing would be something I could use to keep her calm while I did little things like pee or whip up a sandwich. Perhaps she was just a "needs o be held constantly baby" or maybe she just didn't like hat particular swing, I do t really know.

Anyway, point is, I want to splurge a bit more on a swing this time to possibly get something baby can stand to be in for at least a few minutes. I've been reading a lot of reviews and talked to some mommies a work and I'm leaning towards the Fisher Price My Little Sung a Bunny. It is pretty clearly the best rated on amazon.com. It is the one I currently have on our registry. It retails at Babies R Us for about $170. I just saw that amazon has it for $99 right now! (previously, they had it for $126). I'm thinking about just buying it from amazon now...

Do you ladies have swing recommendations? Or know anything about the Snug a Bunny swing?

I've noticed some newborns dont like swings at first, but my DS2 loved the swing about 6 weeks and it was a lifesaver! I don't know much about the snug a bunny swing, but the Fisher Price swings are great! I have the Ocean Wonders one and personally love it because it's more of a seat and seems to last longer when baby gets bigger. Good luck with your search!

Upon looking at the picture, that's the kind I would go with definitely.
I think the fact that you can change the direction of the swing to go either side to side or front to back, whichever baby likes best. And it's nice and padded so it sort of wraps the baby up. I borrowed a portable swing last time and it's just not the same. Plus, I know if I had one of those this time the kids would try to sit in it constantly.
I've never owned a swing but I've used several like that one and they are really great. I say go for it!
