How early or late were your previous kid(s) from their due date? Just curious.
When DD was born on 5/13, they dated her at 39 + 3.
Jack was born at 38+6. I went into labor the night before. He was scheduled for eviction at 39 weeks due to GD, but I was 3cm and 100% at 38 weeks even.
Well both of mine were inductions, so it's definitely not a realistic picture of when they would've come if left to their own devices. My DS1 came at 40+5 and my DS2 came at 37+5 (he was induced early because my fluid was very low and I had been having blood pressure issues all along).
Maddie [& Riley]
BFP: Aug 13, 2008
EDD: April 24th
Actual birth date: April 13, 2008
I couldn't remember his EDD ... I had to go back and search through all my posts to find it. :/
I was induced at 38 weeks with DS due to bp
Water broke at 38 1/2 weeks with DD
K was taken by c-section 10 days before my due date. The little stinker was Frank Breech (toes to her nose) with her head under my rib cage and would NOT turn. Little stinker!
DS1 was born 5/17 right at 38 weeks, but they said he looked to be about 37 weeks. 6lbs6oz
DS2 was induced due to low amniotic fluid and "slow growth"at 38w3d but came out a perfect 6lbs9oz
Hoping to go longer for this one so my DS1 and this baby don't have the same birthday. Hoping for June 1st which would put me past 40 weeks! Im crazy!
It depends on which date you go by, either 37 weeks or 40 weeks. My original scan at PP would have put me at 37 weeks, but I think it was wayyyyyy off, LMP had me at 40 weeks. I couldn't handle being pregnant anymore and had the doctor induce me. Will not be doing that again.

You're not crazy! I love gestating as long as possible, lol. My doctor started throwing out the word "induction" at like 35 weeks with DS2 because of the issues I was having with BP and low fluid. I got steroid injections to develop his lungs in case he had to come early. When 37 weeks hit, my doctor thought I'd be all ready to get it over with and I was like fighting with him. He made a comment like he was surprised because so many women are begging him to induce them at that point, and he won't do it without a medical cause. I was just like, "Noooo!" Of course, I was back in the office 5 days later for a scan and my fluid was even lower, super low by that point, so I gave up that fight. But after having a baby at 40+5 and then having one born 3 weeks sooner, DS2 felt like a preemie to me compared to my first little fatty. I hope I can make this one a full 40 weeks!!
Mary, I too had bp problems but too much fluid! Noah was born at 36+6. He weighed 5 lb 6.5 oz. my tiny little baby and now you wouldn't notice he was that little when he was born!
Both my boys were born 2 days before their due date at the same time of day!
40+5 weeks. Your a strong woman! I have always been feeling done at around 38 weeks and don't want my baby to get to big because I have a hard time pushing them out, but I do think making it to 40 weeks is a good goal! I really wished I could of gone longer with DS2 but they scared me and thought he was deformed and not a thriving baby so they wanted to do a c-section and I said no. So they put me as high risk and gave me no choice to induce. It was terrible but a great feeling when he came out and he was just fine!
Water broke at 37 w, 6 d (at work!) and she was born 8 hours later. 5 lb, 15 oz and perfect.
