Lurking on the may board~~~
I am glad to hear there was nothing to be concerned with. How scary!
I hear you on the constipation. Between the pregnancy, zofran for the nausea, and pain meds for my knee my colon has no chance! :)
Eat/drink lots of fiber. And lots of fluids to stay hydrated.
So glad most everything is ok. I am right there with you all and the constipation. I am on progesterone and it is bad. I have back pain overnight nearly every night until my body decides it has to go a little bit about 4 am. SMH It is bad!
So for those of you that have/are dealing with it.. what are you doing to stay regular? Anyone has any intervention (Other than poor Mary.. :comfort: Your DH is a saint! )
Nothing yet. I eat prunes, drink fluids, but I can only eat what I can handle without...you know. I plan on asking my doctor tomorrow at my appointment.
Glad everything is ok. Most of the time when I puke there is a little blood. Freaked me out, but the midwives said it was normal. Ha, normal!
Constipation is awful. Prune juice seems to work. My midwife said hot water with lemon. I thought she was crazy...I tried it and immediately had to go. But I had the prune juice earlier that day...so it could have been that.
Metamucil i heard works. my dr Okayed it if fiber gummies didn't help along with leafy greens. I might start it soon. i poop but not enough.

With DD I had serious constipation, almost went to ER one night. I was told to take metamucil, it worked okay. It wasn't a miracle but got things sort of back to normal. Glad the baby is fine!!! :)
Thankfully, no constipation here.. but I drink a lot of water and always have. It's harder to go though.. like it takes my body to go a little longer but I don't have to strain. Sorry, TMI. Try to eat plenty of fruits and veggies and lots of water :)
