So I had my second NST yesterday and it took a little longer than normal.. I guess they like to see what they call "Excels" which is a natural variation upward in baby's heart rate.. and he was DEcelling which they didn't like.. The nurse kept poking and prodding, telling little man to "get mad" at her.. (it was kinda funny ) and then changed it to "come play with me!" But after a while, he started behaving. :clappy:
My fasting numbers have been way too high for their liking - imagine that.. my worst numbers are when I don't eat! ha! So I've been started on 5mg of Glyburide (I think that's the spelling?) to take 30 minutes before my PM snack. She said it could take a few days to see results but it would help..
BUT! With this new medicine comes an even higher risk of a big baby so I have a growth scan on my 3/29 NST. :woohoo: for seeing baby again!
Side note - Did you see the first April baby is coming TOMORROW????????? Our time is nearing, mamas!!
