Thread: What a day................. UGH!

DH forgot to close my trunk when bringing in the dog food on Saturday so my battery was d.e.a.d.

Finally jumped, I ran out of gas on the way in.

Got to the gas station finally and my debit card got declined. Found out later it was b/c I put in my old zip code in.

Once at work, the driver for our 9am pick up was there.. as was the 2 pm driver so I'm rushing like crazy to get everything ready.

One pallet didn't get scanned so when I figured which of the 720 it was, it - of course - had to be the 4th one loaded into the truck. Had the boss take them ALL off so I could scan it..

Did he bring that one out to me? Nope. I had to bring the laptop cart IN the truck to go to it.

At which time the wheel got caught in the space between the dock door and the truck edge, knocking the cart over. That reset my wireless connection which caused my scanning program to shut down. I had to start back at number 1.

Got a call back from my Dr office that I had called mid-morning about a bunch of cramping and whatnot.. they wanted me in "urgently" b/c as with DD, I'm Rh-Negative.. You can read more about it here if you don't already know about it.

So yeah, I'm wishing I could have a beer right about now.. Just one of those days....

Funny... During my bleeding in my pg with DS2, I went to the ER. I knew I'd have to sit there forever and pay a fortune and there wasn't anything they could do either way, but I was sick of the rollercoaster and had to know if he was okay. So anyway, they tested my blood and came back telling me I'm RH-. I was like, "No... No I'm not." I know for a fact that my blood type is A+ (we had a lab in school about this very topic and tested our own blood type, lol... not to mention I've got a red cross donor card that says A+). So anyway, it took them like an hour to come back and tell me that was an error. They were going to unnecessarily give me the injection of rhogam. grrrr...

Wow, I am so sorry you had such a horrible day. I hope you get some relaxation from all of the stress! I am RH- and it is no big deal. I have to get a couple of shots and that is pretty much it.

Thanks, ladies. Today is a much better day. My car started, it has gas and my card is working fine. Some days are just the pits!

I was Rh- with DD and she turned out just fine but I guess when you have 10 stinking YEARS in between kids you kinda forget all the little things that are truly normal as it comes lol.

The cramping is a beyotch today but that's the worst of it. No bleeding or anything. All in all, a good day!

Wow - seriously???? That's a big mistake!! good thing you had the history behind ya and were able to set them straight! I giggle secretly when the non-medicial field person tells the medical person more! Ha!


If being Rh- is having negative blood, I'm totally Rh negative.. I give blood often enough bc I'm a universal doner at O- . The blood banks are quite regular in emailing me when its time for me to give again. Lol..
