Baby Names?

Has anyone started thinking of baby names yet?

I know there's a forum just for it but it's inactive at the moment.
What names do y'all prefer or dislike?

We don't know yet, but I want it to be the initials A. D. C. Just like my son. First name with A and second name with a D. Whatever children I have (not that I am planning more) , will have the same initials. It's just something to make them unique.

That's a really cool idea Aurora. Especially since your name is Aurora.
I'm assuming Dawn is your middle name? And C starts y'alls last name. How much fun is that?!!! Smile

What do you think of Ashton Daniel or Aurelia Daisy?

Lol, this is just what initially popped up in my head. Smile

We'v barely started the discussion, but DH mentioned he likes Ivy for a girl, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. Its not resonating with me, so I'm mulling it over. We've talked about Eli for a boy and it was among top boy names last time, but got edged out by Kole. Its pretty high on the popularity charts right now though so I'd be afraid that he'd have 10 kids in his class with the same name.

Steph, I think Olivia would go well with your other girl names and I like Aiden for the boy name, though its also pretty popular now.

My husband wants Neil for a boy (he insists by the way that we will only have boys...I told him good luck with that:)). I like Lucia Rose for a girl.

Dexter, or Charlie Dexter, or if it's twin boys, Charlie and Dexter lol. I don't have any girl-name ideas.

Actually Dawn (English) and Aurora (Spanish) are the same thing. My initials are AGL, I kept my maiden last name. DS has my DH exact name, but with their first and second switched around. DH is DAC and DS is ADC.

That is the same thing I tell DH, who is also set on another boy...yet, again I think we (the moms) are also being bias to get a little girl as our second lol

I guess we started a tradition with our first son and all of our kids will have 2 middle names and the first name will start will a C.

DS 1 is Christopher Shannon Andrew C.
DS 2 is Cooper Riley TJ C.

If we have a girl her name will be Chloe Danette Hope

if we have a boy i have no clue! I like the name Carson but thats all we got! So we are just keeping our fingers crossed that we have a girl!

Aurora. I'm sorry about my assumptions on your name Sad That's what I get for assuming. Your names are still an awesome idea! I love it

Nichole. Your girl name; Chloe is sooo pretty! And my DDs also have 2 middle names. Smile
This baby will also have two middle names, boy or girl.

Anna. Thank you for you input. DH is pretty set on those first names, actually. Smile
Olivia if it's a girl and Aiden if it's a boy. We just need to find 2 middle names.

My father's name was Columbus Oliver M. He passed away 2 years ago.
That's where we got the Olivia. I wanted to name my son Oliver but I only had girls.
Then my brother had a son and named him Oliver.
Then my sister had a son and named him Marques Oliver.
So Oliver has been used up in our family in my opinion lol.

I'm thinking...
Olivia Delany Rose P.
and
Aiden Columbus ? P.

DH has a family name he wants to continue - Richie
So if we have a son...his name might be Aiden Columbus Richie. It's not exactly poetic IMO but it'll be very unique.

As a Hispanic, I have two names and two last names (4 total), which confuses people. I shortened my DS by first name, middle name , and one last name only. My family was not happy about it, but hey my kid my decision...so whatever anybody else thought was not my concern. So having 4 names total is common for us, maybe even more if they feel like it.

I love that you are keeping family names, so even if it isn't "poetic", the story behind is beautiful.
