    Default Cautiously Joining *MC mentioned*

Hey ladies I think it may be time to join in. I have been lurking since the very beginning. I'm Marisol, 33, been married for 10 years, and have a 8 years old daughter. We have been TTC for almost 4 years now. On my second cycle of IVF I finally got pregnant and miscarried close to 23 weeks due to an incompetent cervix.

On Monday I went for my NT scan and they found my cervix to be short already (2.8 ) and will be getting a cerclage tomorrow morning. My first goal is to make it to just 28 weeks, and that terrifies me. If I make it to 28 weeks next goal is 32 weeks. Needless to say, this is going to be a long road. I was pulled from work this week already, so I'm officially on bed rest.

I look forward to staying here. I must admit I'm not 100% committed because I'm so scared of loosing this baby as well. BUT I do need some girls to talk to and get things off my chest while I sit on this sofa and probably gain a gazillion pounds!!!

I will update as soon as I can and hopefully all goes well tomorrow!!!

Welcome to the group. Hopefully all goes well. I am also on bed rest, surprisingly I haven't gained weight (yet again I am also really nauseous). Let's just say HH9M to all of us

Welcome! There was a woman on my last BB who had a cerclage. It worked so well she had to have it removed to get labor to start. I hope its equally effective for you!

Welcome and congrats! I hope your cerclage procedure goes well tomorrow, I was on a board here with another women who had a cerclage put in (I can't remember what week she was in) But she was able to make it to term. I hope the same for you and look forward to getting to know you better.

Wow!! I am so sorry that this has to be such a scary thing for you!! I followed you for a bit around the time you lost Cecelia and was very heartbroken for you! I will keep you in my prayers and hope that the cerclage does what its supposed to and you get to bake a full term baby!!! Welcome and I hope you spend the next 6 to 7 months with us!

Welcome, Marisol. I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I know it's scary but you'll get through this one day at a time. That cerclage is going to help you carry your little one to term. I'm praying for you and claiming that victory for you.

    HH9M to you hun.
