    Default DH Brag

DH has been helping a little here and there since I am in complete bedrest. Today he was awesome! He cleaned the whole house (living room, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms) So proud of him, that I had to brag about it

That's great he has been so helpful! Why are you on bed rest? Do you expect to be on bed rest the rest of your pregnancy? Must be hard with other kids to take care of.

Wow! Go DH! I haven't been feeling a whole great deal of sympathy from my DH this round. He gets better when I become visibly pregnant, but doesn't understand that I feel the worst before I start showing.

Bedrest due to 2 previous m/c on my last 2 pregnancies , and pelvic rest due to spotting. Pelvic rest seems to be helping, since I haven't spotted in a while. I do not now exactly until when he will have me on it, but our last conversation it seemed that it is only for the first half of pregnancy. I still get up for daily stuff, but the most I do on a daily basis is walk my DS to the front door for his school bus and pick him up in the same place for drop off...but no cleaning, lifting, or exercise I can't be in my bed 24/7, backache would kill me.

With DS I had horrible nausea and would vomit 75 percent of what I ate literally minutes after I ate. All this happened during all my pregnancy, so DH was a major help. He was always ready to clean up everything, even after working 15 hr a day. During my first 4 months I lost 15 lbs, and gained 25 lbs by the end of my pregnancy (mostly water weight as I was bloated like Violet from willy wonka lol). Even now he gets how fatigued I am and encourages my 2-3 hr naps. I usually don't sleep so much, I tend to sleep 7-8 hr a night. Now I sleep 8-10 at night plus the long naps during the day.

Wow! Congrats on the awesome DH. Take it easy and I hope you can get off bed rest soon.
