More cramps in second pregnancy?

I don't recall having the same level of cramps this early on last time. Nothing painful. Just kind of a dull ache in my lower abdomen off an on with those sharper pains I'm attributing to RLP. Of course that has me all freaked out despite having no other reason to think something is wrong. What gives? I'm assuming this just starts earlier in subsequent pregnancies. Can anyone relate?

I do not remember having cramps with DS. This pregnancy I have experienced some cramping, including a 3 hr long episode that ended with bleeding and an ER visit. Everything was fine thankfully, but it is still concerning to me.

I'm noticing a lot more difficulties with this third pregnancy early on than the others.

I think it's just our bodies remembering what to do so round ligament pains are happening sooner...etc. Our bellies are popping out sooner. I'm counting down the weeks until the second trimester or at least 10 weeks when I'm hoping most of these really yucky symptoms will go away.

For my 2nd pregnancy I had so much cramping I once went to the ER because I thought that there was definitely something wrong! Turns out their wasn't. I think the staff at the ER thought I was totally crazy. They had me wait there all night! Anyways, things turned out to be fine. I am now on my 4th pregnancy and have had hardly any cramping at all.

Well, the cramping has been way better this time, the nausea has been way worse! I think i'd rather have the cramping :rolleyes:

I think maybe we just forget how bad/not bad the cramping was in the past. I've had mild cramping and some sharper pains (RLP I guess) that I don't recall really having previously. I know I had cramping, but I'm totally paranoid this time despite the insane M/S (which also seems worse than my first pregnancy though I don't know that it actually is)

I wish I'd kept a better journal of my first trimester symptoms last time. :/

I keep thinking the same thing about my first pregnancy. I can't decide if I'm actually feeling that much worse or if I just don't remember.

I know for a fact I wasn't feeling this nauseous with Teagan. That didn't start until 7 weeks. I was up with nausea a few times last night. Bluuuuurgh. And I think my boobs are up a cup size already. What is going on in these boobies? Its not like they've been inactive. I mean. Come on, ladies. You've got quite a bit of time to prep for this bean.

I can see your point, Anna. It's been 5 years since the BEGINNING of my last pregnancy and 7 for the beginning of my first pregnancy. Maybe I just don't remember how awful it was.

Every time I complain about how awful this feels, I feel guilty lol. I know smudgy can't hear me yet but I don't want him/her to even feel my negativity. It's really weird, i know, but somewhere inside I feel like if I keep complaining about how bad I feel that the baby will leave. Sad

But I do! I feel so extremely awful, tired, nauseous...I can't keep water down! And there's nothing to help me! Zofran is on back order...Please hurry up 2nd trimester!

This is my third baby and the longest I have gone between pregnancies. I have been very crampy and don't remember being like that with my other two.

:lurk: I was busting out of my bras this early with Ronin. I caved and got measured up at 13 weeks and had gone up two cups sizes. Good news they didn't change again and I stayed that size (got close to busting out when my milk first came in but I knew it was short lived and persevered)
