Nursery Theme?

Has anyone thought about nursery themes yet? This is the first time I will get to have a nursery (I didn't get to with both of my boys). I am thinking about airplanes. So if anyone is looking around online and sees a cute airplane crib set let me know!

Awww, this is my first time to have a nursery too!!! We have the spare room and I knew we would put Smudgy there after he/she stopped sleeping in our room...but a friend just announced that she's giving me her son's crib...so now we're actually going to do the crib/nursery thing.

I never had one with either of my DDs - no space in an apartment.

Woot, woot. I'm excited for us both!!!! I will keep my eyes peeled for airplanes.
We're going to do a jungle theme. boy or girl. We'll just girl up the accessories if it's a girl. We'll know on Thursday night if baby cooperates.

There's a darling airplane nursery set on ebay.

UGH I hate to be a party pooper but I haven't looked at anything. I am not planning on looking at anything until I'm passed viability this time around. I must admit I have looked at diaper bags though. Smile

With DD I bought her bedding on ebay and it worked out great.

I guess I'm a party pooper because I have absolutely no intention of decorating a nursery for this little one. I only decorated a nursery for my first because my sister made me! We did next to nothing though, just hung a border around the room, which my sister did for us. All our bedding was a gift. We have since moved from that house, and the nursery is attached to our room, we never bothered to strip the tacky peach coloured wall paper from the wall. My 18 month old still sleeps in the crib in that room. My goal will be to get him out of the nursery before this baby arrives. My babies don't really sleep in their crib until past 6 months, so I'm not terribly worried what it looks like. Our nursery is clean and baby safe and that's what's important to me.

No nursery for us this time, which is a first. I'm a little sad to not have anything to decorate, but also a little relieved! Baby will live in our room, then our master closet (don't laugh!) until we move to a bigger house. We could put the baby with #3, but I don't think I'm willing to disrupt his sleep. He's still a terrible sleeper at 19 months and don't want his habits to rub off on the baby!

No nursery here. I have done a nursery for any of mine. Before we moved, we live in a 2 bedroom house with a HUGE master and set up a crib and changing table in there. Both kids have spent at least 6 months in our room with us and we'll do the same this time even with a much smaller master bedroom. We have a 3 bedroom house now, but with 2 kids already all are spoken for so someone will eventually be sharing a bedroom. I have been eyeballing the master to see where I can fit a bassinet in there or maybe a swing, but I haven't done anything more than that.

Yeah I'm not laughing. DD2 slept in our room for a long time and then in the master closet (which was in DD1 room. We purposely put the girls in the master room knowing they'd need the space). And all we ever used was a graco pack-n-play that had the bassinet part and a changing thing. When the girls got too big for the bassinet we took that part out and they slept in the bottom of the pack-n-play. Sad

You gotta do what you gotta do.

We live in a two bedroom so no nursery. Sprog will likely spend the first year in our room and then transition to sharing a room DD. We didn't really do one for DD since we knew we'd be room sharing and needed to keep her room as a guest room as long as possible.

DH wants to do sailboats and pirates now that we know we're having a boy. I can't seem to find any really cute sailboat things. Anyone have any ideas?

We're stuck in our tiny old house. We'll have 3 kids in one bedroom for awhile. Right now the walls are painted light yellow and light green for a Winnie the Pooh theme. But my kids are in love with Toy Story and Monsters Inc these days. I bought my daughter a blue-ish Toy Story bedding set. My son is 18mon and just moved into his toddler bed. I'm planning on ordering him a blue-ish bedding set as well (I dunno which movie theme tho - depends on what I find on Amazon lol). And I don't use crib bumpers or anything so the crib doesn't need a bedding set. I just want to redo the walls soooo badly and get new curtains and stuff.
