Sudden lower back pain?

Over the last couple of days I've noticed a crampy, fatigue type pain in my lower back. It has been pretty mild until this evening while I was cooking supper. It just overwhelmed my with how totally exhausted and crampy my back felt. It was accompanied by some nausea and slight stomach cramps too. I'm not sure how normal this is since I didn't experience this in my previous pregnancies. Anyone else have this or know anything about how concerned I should be? I'm 12 weeks tomorrow.

I have back pain off an on since I had the cerclage put in, as well as cramping...

I would keep an eye on it and maybe call your doctor. Try drinking more water that helps with cramps. If it continues call doctor it could be nothing. KUP.

I had some similar pain last week. I decided to sit down and rest. The pain came and went. I think a lot of it for me is that my belly is getting bigger and my back is out of whack because of the extra weight.

I've had back pain prior to both pregnancys. Recently found out its spinal bifida. The key is to up water intake and yoga helps. I'm praying not to have back labor again. Also

May want to invest in a pregnancy belly belt. It helped significantly last time.

I have an issue with sciatic nerve pain in my lower back and I never know when that will flair up. But this was different, this was like deep cramping pain. It lasted about 2 days and has been better since. DH thinks it may be because I haven't been drinking enough water and my kidneys are hating me. Totally possible since drinking water makes me nauseous and so I tend to not drink much. Its hard to stay hydrated that way.
