Super stressed out...BFN this morning and needs DH help

Woke up and was super excited to test. Unfortunately BFN was our answer. Not so thrilled. I just don't know what we are doing wrong?
I'm going to try soft cups another poster mentioned. Maybe that will help (HOPEFULLY)
We DTD every other day/night
I chart and have had steady numbers. I just don't know anymore.

DH wasn't wanting to ttc#3at first and has now come around (awhile ago now) and that's exciting I'm thrilled! But DH says because it's taking so long and children #1and #2 took and VERY long time that we should have a time line so that we don't get to crazy with emotions.

He does remind me that we have 2beautiful girls, our house is great for them, they have their own room, our childcare arrangement is amazing and we are blessed to have 2 kids where as many people can't even have 1!!

I'm not doubting him does anyone have a time line? We're also getting older and this is so emotional draining. What's everyone's thoughts. TTC til it happens? What about you ladies? What's your plan and what's happening with your DH's?

And your living and childcare arrangements has that been a factor or a discussion?

Thanks in advance.

Hi! sorry it's taking awhile. Sad

I don't really have a timeline but really want to have a 2014 baby. We are also getting older. I turn 35 in Feburary and I won't be willing to get too much older waiting for a third child. How old are you? So far my DH is fine with TTC but it's only been a couple of months. I'm not sure where he'll be if we get 6 months in and nothing has happened.

sure. our house has plenty of bedrooms, but only one bathroom. But we've talked about the fact that with 2 or 3 kids, it's still too many people sharing a bathroom once they reach middle/high school age so we have to move by then anyway. I've convinced DH that I should be a SAHM, we are just trying to find the right timing for that. the last student loan will pay off at the end of December. I was thinking I'd continue working until baby #3 arrived, but at this point we are looking at May baby at the earliest and I'm not sure I'm willing to work that long. I'm constantly stressed balancing a full time job, part time in the office, while taking care of two kids and semi taking care of the house. Just not enough time in the day! If I loved my job maybe I'd feel differently.....

We are planning of TTC soon. I'm waiting to hear about a job. If I don't get it, we will start right away. If I do (year contract), we'll wait until after Christmas to start. I'm 36 so I don't really want to wait too much longer after that. The main focus for the job is to keep me in the market and the Canadian mat leave where I'd get EI benefits for the year as long as I've worked enough hours.

We also have 2 great girls. I'm not sure if we would take any aggressive action if it takes us a long time. DD1 took 8 months but my loss and DD2 were month 1. If nothing has happened by next summer, we'd have to discuss how we want to proceed. We have just moved and are currently renting. I'd love to buy a house with 4 bedrooms or at least bigger 3 bedrooms. Our last house had a kids room that was huge and great for sharing but in this place the rooms are tiny. We'd have to go to bunk beds and I'd have to see if at 6 DD1 could go to the top bunk.

No real timeline, though I am not getting any younger, I just turned 29 and hubby is 30 in a few weeks. Our house we purpose bought for a large family we have 3 decent sized bedrooms and a tiny room for the nursery plus a big open room which is a playroom. Child care is a bit of a thing for uis, it costs a fortune and is hard for us to get fee assistance because a) we get very little and b) hubby's wage fluctuates and they provide assistance by income, if we under estimate they give us a biull. Right now we pay full fees and get the difference back at tax time, which allows us to have some savings

I'm so sorry Katie. I wish I had some great advice. I just wanted to let you know that I wish the best for you next time.

My DH is 31 and I'm 28...I also have 2 DDs but from my previous marriage. My DH and I are TTC our first together...I just had my tubes untied so we're wondering how soon this will happen but I thin we're gonna just keep TTC until it happens.

Danifo - We have 3 small bedrooms and a small office area. Right now my DDs have their own rooms because they go to bed better that way. We have a bunk bed in one room and both of my DDs do really well on top. My youngest is 4 and eldest is 6. We reinforced the sides tho too.

I think the plan is to keep the baby in a bassinet in our bedroom at first and gradually give him/her the other bedroom and move the girls back together in one room. IDK how well all that is going to go but hopefully it goes well.

Katie...do you know for sure that your AF is going to start soon? Is it possible that you O'd late?

Yes it came on Monday night.

I'm 34 and DH is 35.
It took me 11cycles to have number 2 and 8 for number 1.

We have tried what feels like everything. My friend came over today with her baby and I just melted. But it's so stressful even without setting a stop date or month. I bought off a website a kit of tests and honestly not sure I'll get through them. In the end I'll appreciate what I have.

We have a 3bdr currently and great childcare which is very hard to find. It's so perfect. Couldn't ask for more. Hopefully that won't change and will stay even if i do conceive #3
Wanted af to go so we can DTD and get this going :s

We have not real time line here. DS is five next month. We gone back and forth on trying seriously since he was six months of age. Usually health issues put a freeze on things for short bursts.

Guess we all have similarities?? What do you mean?
I think I've convinced myself that we will try til November. If it's not a success, then I will be the gal happy with my two girls and my house and my childcare.
I think I'd be ok. I think that not having a plan, getting older is making me more stressed, agitated month to month on what to try next, is it a bfp or a BFN?
And the disappointed after math as I get the answer that I don't want.

Just mean that how u described your situation is very similar to where I am right now: Ttc #3, similar length of times ttc #1 and #2, 3 bedroom house and great childcare arrangements and hoping it stays the same with #3. Felt like I could have written that post! But I'm sure there are lots of us with the same story Smile

Yea. Unfortunately. We all are in the same boat Sad
Wouldn't wish that on anyone else.
Do you have a plan?
I think November is ours. I just need to not worry but unfortunately it happens with or without a date Sad

Good news? IDK how good it is but I got EWCM today for the first time in a very long time. Didn't have it at all last cycle when we were TTC and I haven't seen it in years since my tubes were tied. I think these herbal supplements are changing things. I'm letting my hopes rise that this is a really good sign.

I really am hoping and praying that this is the month for all of us. I would love to see a bfp post from y'all.
Hang in there Katie! (((hugs)))
