Well I couldn't hit 24 weeks without incident could I? I went for my OB appt yesterday and BP was 150/80-sent straight to hospital. Got there and after almost 3 hours they couldn't find anything wrong with BP, bloodwork or urine so I was sent home. AND baby was SOOO active it was craziness! I felt perfectly fine too. It was so strange. I go to MFM tomorrow for cervical length and hopefully all is well. I go back in 2 weeks for BP check and glucose test!!

I don't blame your doctor for being cautious but it is good to hear that all is well. Good luck with the MFM.

Wonder if the doc somehow made an error in taking your BP? Have you had high BP in the past? I was under the impression it's never a good idea to make a decision off one reading. I've heard if you have a high reading you should check back in 20 minutes or so just to verify because BP is one of those things that can fluctuate. But anyways, glad to hear after that scare that everything is OK. I had blood pressure issues my first two pregnancies and it was no fun.

Wow, I'm glad everything turned out fine. Sounds like they may have taken the BP incorrectly the first time. Did they just check it once and rush you to the hospital? I guess it's good that they are being proactive and not taking anything lightly though. Better safe than sorry!

Sorry. Thought i had mentioned before that i have a history of high blood pressure; however, i have shown no signs it this pregnancy. Actually it has been perfect! It was a new dr who is not familiar at all with my history and just wasn't very pleasant! I dont think trip to the hospital necessary.

I got my cervix checked today and it shortened slightly but it is still a descent length. So i am happy for now!

Glad your BP has been good this pregnancy! Also happy to hear that your cervix is still a decent length. Hope it stays that way until the baby is well baked!

Wow...Im sorry to hear you had a hospital scare. I had one too on the 20th. Those are never fun...but it's so great that everything turned out good. Like PP said, better safe than sorry I guess.

So, so, so happy to hear that your cervix is still a good length. You're almost 26 weeks. You're gonna make it momma!
