It only takes one Jodie, hopefully two weeks brings you a nice surprise.
I'm hoping hubby's freeze well, he had a great SA when he did one, but they prefer fresh over frozen. I'm also going to ask about progesterone considering my 10 day LP this month, it's an anomaly, but I want to cover all bases.
Do you have to do anything special after IUI like limited activity etc because I will have to drive straight back, or else depending on the day go to my Mum's and pretend nothing has happened
When you do the IUI the dr will have you stay laying down for up to ten minuets or more afterwards. Then later that night my Dr suggests DTD again. (We aim for the next day as well due to my history of ovulating at about 36-48hrs post trigger.) We also use Maybe Baby sperm friendly lube as well (same thing as preseed) to increase our chances.
Ditto to what Wendy said.. It only takes one! I pray you caught your egg (or eggies) Jodie!
Good luck with the IUI Wendy! My RE automatically prescribes prometrium for the TWW.
During O I used Preseed, and after O I did pineapple core for about 6 days I believe. Also had a glass of wine for a couple of days because I heard it can help.. I wanted to work out but I was too scared to do it.. Or lazy, but I'm saying scared lol.
I was testing out my trigger and yesterday's and the day before was pretty much negative but today's is a little darker.. I'm not getting excited because it always turn out not so good in the end.. So i'm just hoping it gets darker tomorrow..
I hope it's turning to a bfp Patrice.
I will get to talk to the doctor more on the 6th at my CD11 scan, I had a meeting at work on the 5th which is when they would have preferred me to come in, but it got cancelled yesterday. I feel like a pest ringing all the time so I have just left it
Wow Patrice, That is looking hopefull. Fingers crossed that line starts to get darker for you.
So I guess now all that can be done is done and we are in the 2 week wait. DH goes away today for 48hours.
Oh we think it is so bad because he has been under huge stress and looks like he has a virus going around. (He was being a typical male and would not listen to me when I said he needs to take something for his fevers earlier in the week.)
Why will hubby's not listen. I spoke to a Mum at daycare today who has two babies from IUI who used the same doctor we are and she was very happy with him. At least I know someone who has been there done that in regards to this, sadly it's easier to talk about with a few Mum's at day care than it is my close friends or family.
