Default What all have you bought for that baby?

What all have you bought for the baby already? We went the other night and DH surprised me and we got to go ahead and buy a carseat, stroller, swing, bouncer seat, and diaper bag! We were going to buy the crib we wanted but my friend had the same one used and sold it to us for $45 so we saved $155 on the crib and got to go ahead and get the other stuff! Here is what we got so far!

That's awesome! My mom and sister bought a new car seat for us, so I think all we need to buy is another base (our old one expired in December), a changing pad and diaper pail for our room. We still have everything else from the other kids and the baby will be in our room, so not much to do. Although I have to say I will miss shopping for baby... it is quite fun even if it is $$!

I don't really need anything for this baby. I have bought a couple gender neutral newborn outfits. I have also bought myself two woven wraps. I really can't justify anything else. We have bassinet, car seat, crib, stroller(s), cloth diapers and just about everything else we need from our other children. Now if we have a girl, I think I might go crazy clothes shopping afterwards....If I have a boy I won't have to buy anything even after the birth.

Awesome! Nothing yet. I attempted yesterday but ended up not buying anything. UGH I still have this paranoia and it's killing me. I do have everything listed that I want in a registry AND we picked out the crib and dresser. It's just a matter of actually buying it. As for clothes I am buying nothing since a good friend of mine had twins in October and she has a ton of stuff and my cousin has a 2 year old boy and she said she had a ton of stuff. LOVE hand me downs!!!

We got a crib and breast pump from my friend. I bought the crib mattress on sale at babies-r-us (so excited...got a $150 mattress for $25) I also bought a pack-n-play mattress this time.

We've also bought a baby book, some onsies, a Harley Davidson jacket and a musical, stuffed giraffe.

My MIL bought us a 13 piece crib bedding set that I had on our registry and it went on sale. She grabbed it while it was 80% off.
It has a everything we need for the bed, plus 2 window valances, diaper bag with changing pad and a bottle holder.
It also comes with a toy bag, diaper stacker and baby hat. So we got a lot just from that

MIL also bought us a pack-n-play that comes with a bassinet and changing table. So now we've got practically everything!

My mother is buying us a chest of drawers and we're getting everything else as hand me downs!

Marisol, I'm so sorry you're still feeling nervous. You're at 26 weeks. You've made it so far. I hope and pray you receive peace that your LO is healthy and going to make it to full term. I'm praying for you.

Thats awesome that you still have a bunch of stuff! Our baby car seat expired in Dec. so we had to get a new one. DH didn't understand why carseats expired! Our crib was a drop down side one that part of it was broke so thats why we had to get a different one! I'm glad we got a good deal on it!

Yeah, my car seat expires in 2015, so I can use it for this baby. Our crib thankfully is not a drop side and as far as we know it hasn't been recalled. My 20 month old still sleeps in it. I knew I planned to have more kids, so we've kept pretty much everything.
