2WW obsession thread!

Let's all go crazy and obsess through the 2WW!

I am 95% sure I am now in the 2WW, I am some where between 2-5 DPO. I am leaning towards 5 DPO because I have had some twinges down in my very low abdomen which I only get when I have conceived previously. My boobs look and feel different and I keep getting tingles/pains in them, the occasional mild nausea, and as crazy as this sounds, blood streaked snot when I blew my nose. Who else is obsessing like me?

I'll join in.. lol My name is Ally and I am roughly 3dpo. Yesterday I felt immense bloaty pressure in my stomach and today its there but not as painful, I'm a little more gasy as well. Certain foods are already turning me off and any overwhelming smells just make me gag. I am also peeing a wee bit more (I assume it has to do with the bloaty pressure). I am getting all hot and cold chills throughtout the day. I NEVER feel like this around O time.. like EVER. I never even felt like this when I was pg with my dd.

I am on 100mg of clomid and have been for 3 cycles... first cycle on it was about a 60 day cycle(extreme stress caused that because I am normally 30 days on the dot).. then the second cycle was 31.. so this cycle I am assuming will be around 28-31. We've been tracking my cervix position and its very high..and in the past 3 days its been extremely high.. we didn't check last night because of the pressure my stomach already was feeling.

I was obsessing a bit earlier and went to find a 3dpo symptom list and as I was listing them off to my DH, he looks at me and says yup yup yup to each one.. then replies.. "Crap I think I am pregnant! I have all of those symptoms!" He started laughing so I know he was poking a wee bit of fun at me...lol

If it turns out that these symptoms are the result of a pg and not the effects of clomid, my due date would be May 4th.. funny part is my birthday is May 3rd. Already told DH that if I go into labour on my birthday I am not going to be too impressed.. I do not want THAT much pain on my birthday..LOL!!!

I'll obsess with you! I'm 7DPO. Have not had too many symptoms but felt some twinges the other day and was super tired. But, given this is month 18 of ttc I don't put much stock in symptoms. I'm dying to test though. Because of the trigger shot I don't want to test too early, so I'll wait until next Thursday, which will put me at 13DPO.

Ally - your dr doesn't monitor you when on Clomid, or give you an HCG shot? I go for almost daily cycle monitoring around o time - dr's orders. It's so helpful to know exactly when o happens!!!

No Julie, my dr doesn't monitor me and I have never had an HCG shot. He didn't montior me when I got pg with my dd in 2008 either, but I was on 50mg then and I was trying to get my cycle to do it on its own (1 month on clomid, 1 month off.. it worked.. got pregnant on an off month.. took me almost a year on and off of clomid after 8 years of JLIH). I am not doing that this time as my DH currently lives in England and we are only together for a few months out of the year until he is finished university next year, he leaves this coming Wednesday... Sad This is basically my last cycle on clomid until Christmas and that is if my cycles are aligned properly with his visit over the holidays, otherwise I am done until he finishes up in the Spring.

Your at 7DPO.. oh man you have alot of restraint.. I am already holding back from running to the dollarstore and stocking up on tests.. lol Back in 2008 I was a POAS addict.. lol. Sending you guys tons of sticky vibes!!!

I have already started testing, just for the fun of it because I have a ton of internet cheapies. No lines yet. lol BUT I keep getting major boob sensitivity! Combine that with the fact that the food that I craved yesterday almost made me gag when I tried eating it and my moodiness, this cycle is looking promising. Smile

Feeling crampy today, which is unusual for me. I'm desperately wanting this to be a good sign, but also desperately afraid of jinxing anything and the disappointment that I ultimately feel when I get a BFN. 4 more days...

Julie I am really really crossing my fingers for you!!!!

Hubby keeps testing me to see if I am pregnant. With my 3 previous pregnancies the smell of eggs made me very nauseous from very early on, he cooked eggs yesterday and I didn't even know it. Today I went to take my "feel better pills" anti-stress pills, and opened the bottle and about gagged at the smell, I barely noticed the smell of them before today. Then when I took them it took all I had not to gag on them. I am more moody today and just tired. I just want to go to bed and sleep.

I am kind of still lurking about ladies. We have been having a quiet month of TTC because we were unsure of what was going to happen at an appointment that DH had last week and me being sick a couple of weeks ago I have been hopeless at tracking anything. I do think I ovulated this am. (Good old Middle smertz)

Not in the tww yet but later this week I will. Trying to stay neutral, over two years of this crap so I have no hope anymore. Hubby and I got some extra money back this year so we are tossing up if we do our third and final iui. We said at the start we would do three. Problem is work is crazy right now so taking off half days will be hard and I will need lots of monitoring as they want me to do injections this time as clomid does nothing for me, I also clomid is what has caused my cycles to get longer, until I started that it was a cd 15 o now it is up to cd18-19.

BFN for me. Although it was one of those digital ones (FRER) which makes me feel like maybe if I'd used a regular one I could have spotted a faint line - but I think the digital ones are super accurate, and I was feeling crampy yesterday, so I'm sure it's not a false negative.

Feeling pretty down right now. 18 months, 2 x IUI. Is this ever going to happen? How much longer should we keep doing this? But will I always feel regret if I don't keep trying? I just wish there was something more I could do, or understand the root cause better - this unexplained infertility stuff is bs. Rant over.

I hear you Julie, just add a few more months and I am right there with you. I wo nder about the when to give up and regrets as well, though I am also starting to wonder if all this stress is going to give me regrets for not fully savouring what I already have in thepursuit of a second baby. I already regret nit savouring the early years as much because I always thought tjis is not myh last baby I will experience all of this again

Julie, I can completely understand. I often feel that. I am sorry you have had another BFN.

I love digitala but they are not nearly as sensitive as regular tests. I don't get a positive on a digital until several days after my first line on a pink dye frer

AF showed up on Saturday. Went for cycle monitoring today and I have a cyst, which I understand is somewhat normal. The kink is that my estrogen levels are really high and the dr says I'm super close to o'ing - on CD3! Anyone else experienced this? Super early ovulation with a cyst? Anyways, going back tomorrow for another ultrasound to see what's happening.

Julie it is possible to Ovulate that early. Rare but possible.

The obsession has started I am proud that I have resisted the urge to test. Loads of symptoms But will see what happens. I am trying to hold out as I am going away tomorrow (Friday) for the weekend coming back Sunday. (which will CD13.)

Good luck Jodie.

I will see how things go but will habe to test next Friday, it's my cousins wedding so I will need to know if I can have some wine or not, and if I can get a designated driver if it's a bfn. A lady I know told me today she can see either a baby or new beginining around me and thay she has been praying for our family. It's so nice to hear that support, especially from people who aren't your closest friends. Well considering only one of my closest friends knows that makes it hard.

I am in the TWW-- we've not been trying per se, after two miscarriages. I got a super super super super faint line on an internet cheapie, but I don't now how much of that is wishful thinking or real. I am only 10dpo today.

ETA: Today's test was snow white. Wishful thinking I guess.

Can I join in? We had a month of NTNP, and I am currently 9-10dpo. Since we weren't really "trying," I wasn't charting at the beginning of the cycle, but when I started having signs of ovulation, I just had to start. So far, I feel like my chart looks good.....not wanting to get my hopes up...but you know how it is.
