Ok, for those that have their LO in the CDC, can you tell me how they calculate how much you pay? I'm trying to figure out what we'd pay if we enrolled them, but no site will give me how they calculate rates. I remember it was like 6 % or something like that of all income plus how many kids you have. If you have any idea I'd love to know. TIA
I might just call them up soon if I can't figure it out.
The one at Offutt and Keesler both don't factor anything in besides your income when it comes to rates. It's been that way since my son was born in 2008 except the rates keep going up. I think they are different everywhere, as we don't get an additional child discount and the link below shows one.
Total Household Income (THI)
Total Household Income (THI) is defined as all earned income including wages, salaries, tips, long-term disability benefits, voluntary salary deferrals, quarters allowances, and subsistence received by any adults, married or not, residing together as one economic unit and sharing living expenses toward the benefit of the children in residence.
I think you are going to have to call.
thanks for the info and link. I was just seeing if anyone here knew the rates. Last time I tried asking I got the run around. *sigh* guess I'll bite the bullet next week. thanks again
