Thread: Looks like we're not dodging the bullet :(

DH just texted me and said cryptically "You'll have to kennel the pets it looks like". Long story short, I'm going on vacation *very soon* and DH was staying back with the pets. Yesterday he had said that they shortened the list of the guys re-deploying to only a few. Sounds like he's one of those small few

I guess on the plus side, the airline tickets i bought they said are good for a year through southwest, so if i cant go, they will apply the money i paid to new tickets in my name if i use it by may of next year.

Deployments suck

And already its canceled. I *HATE* how flip floppy DH's leadership is. I refused to get upset last night because i just had a feeling they were going to pull this.

Man.. with the army it's so much more definite... the air force seems so much more wishy washy I'm sorry, that has GOT to be frustrating.

To be fair, its not the air force. Technically he is employed with the airforce but he is in a joint forces squadron, and the leadership right now is made up of marines and navy, i blame them.

I dont really like how this joint forces thing works, like if the airforce base has a close for holidays, sometimes they still have to work because they do not follow the airforce standards for holidays, its whatever they feel like.
