A because I'm snowed in and don't want to go shovel poll.

12 inches and counting....we're expecting up to another 10. Sad

1. What is your preferred form of exercise?
2. Do you do any sports or activities competitively?
3. If you had to run (walk) 1 mile, how long would it take?
4. Can you do real push-ups (the plank style, not the girly knee kind)? If so, how many can you do in a minute?

1. What is your preferred form of exercise? Elliptical, but when we moved the people who moved it lost the cord, and the only replacement cord we can find is $100, so my husband is trying to find a cheaper one. Thus, currently I have no elliptical Sad

2. Do you do any sports or activities competitively? HA! Um, no. And if I did I would come in last place. LOL

3. If you had to run (walk) 1 mile, how long would it take? Probably 10-12 minutes (sad, right?)

4. Can you do real push-ups (the plank style, not the girly knee kind)? If so, how many can you do in a minute? Nope

5. What fitness acheivement are you most proud of? I completed a marathon (yep, all 26.2 miles) in my 20's to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society when my nephew had Leukemia

6. What sports/activities did you do as a kid that you no longer do? I played a lot of things as a kid but soccer was my favorite. I played AYSO soccer for several years and goalie was my favorite position because I was never a fast runner but I was tall and good at stopping goals.

7. What's your least favorite form of exercise? Running, although I wish I could run...I have dreams all the time about running and running and running all through the streets like forest gump. LOL and I always feel so free.

Carrie, I didn't know you ran a marathon! that's awesome! Good for you!

1. What is your preferred form of exercise? Runing

2. Do you do any sports or activities competitively? I've done a few races, but I by no means compete with anyone but myself.

3. If you had to run (walk) 1 mile, how long would it take? If it was just 1 mile, probably 8:30-9 minutes.

4. Can you do real push-ups (the plank style, not the girly knee kind)? If so, how many can you do in a minute? Yes. It's been a while since I've timed myself, but I could probably do 40 or so. I use to be great at them. I still hold my high school record for the most push-ups in a minute. I can't remember exactly how many I did, but it was more than 75 in a minute.

5. What fitness acheivement are you most proud of? the push-up thing is pretty cool. Also running a few 1/2 marathons. Running does not come easily for me, so I'm glad I stuck to my training and did it.

6. What sports/activities did you do as a kid that you no longer do? I played Soft Ball for a while. I also use to show in horseback riding. I no longer show, do I do still ride.

7. What's your least favorite form of exercise? The Elliptical. I get bored. I also have a love/hate relationship with the StairMill. They are BRUTAL! But I love feeling badass when I finish a work out on it.

1. What is your preferred form of exercise? Back in the day it was my turbo kickboxing class. Now it's elliptical or we have a nordic track I've been using.

2. Do you do any sports or activities competitively? Nope. I used to play tennis in college, and Jackson starts tennis this month (I have to participate in the classes Smile

3. If you had to run (walk) 1 mile, how long would it take? 10 minutes? I would only run the whole thing if someone were chasing me Smile

4. Can you do real push-ups (the plank style, not the girly knee kind)? If so, how many can you do in a minute? Yes, one thing I'm actually good at. I can probably do 20-25.

5. What fitness acheivement are you most proud of? I was MVP diver for my high school. I played tennis in high school and college, it was so much fun. And I was pretty proud of myself for getting my kickboxing cert and actually teaching classes. I would have thought I was too shy for that, but it was pretty fun!

6. What sports/activities did you do as a kid that you no longer do? Any and everything. I was on a figure skating competition team as a kid. I really wish I hadn't have stopped that. I would have loved to do the ice capades for a year before starting college. But, it took a lot of time and our ice rink moved far away. So friends & high school probably would have been different, so I'm glad things turned out how they did.

7. What's your least favorite form of exercise? Running! I wish I could, and I go in spurts and try, but I always hate it.

2. Do you do any sports or activities competitively? nope
3. If you had to run (walk) 1 mile, how long would it take? A few months ago it would've taken me 9 mins but I'm on a work out break right now and it would probably take me forever to finish now
4. Can you do real push-ups (the plank style, not the girly knee kind)? If so, how many can you do in a minute? I can do them but I have an old shoulder injury from gymnastics that doesn't make them very easy.
5. What fitness acheivement are you most proud of? I'm a certified Zumba instructor!!! I am beyond shy but when it comes to dancing I just let my hair down and stop thinking!
6. What sports/activities did you do as a kid that you no longer do? I was a competitive gymnist. I loved it but I got injured when I was 14 and never bounced back. If I had it to do all over again I would still do gymnastics b/c it really brought me out of my shell and gave me an outlet to be involved with a team.
7. What's your least favorite form of exercise? Running...I just get so bored. I have an ipod and it helps to listin to music but I still can't get into it.

I'm not going to answer all of the questions, but lets just say I am the probably the laziest person you will ever meet (exercise-wise) ROFL I do enjoy going for walks & bike riding, but anything more than that, no thanks!

HA! Ashley I love your honesty! If I had your thin little body I would never give exercise a second thought either. The only times I do it are because I feel like I have to, not because I ever want to.

LOl, Ashley!

I really enjoy working out, but I REALLY enjoy eating too. You'd never know that I was a gym rat by looking at me. I'm hoping to change that this year and get my diet under control. I eat healthy, but I binge on sweets which definitely shows!

I like running and yoga the best. I enjoy the elliptical if I can listen to podcasts or watch TV, otherwise it feels redundant.
2. Do you do any sports or activities competitively?
I've run a couple of 5K and a half marathon, but that wasn't so much to be competitive.

I think just one mile would probably be about 9 minutes.

I could, but I really hate push ups. I usually do the girly kind.

I'm really proud that I've lost all the baby weight from both boys, and I'm pretty proud of the half I ran last weekend. (:

I did cheerleading, and I did soccer when I was young. I wish I would've stuck with soccer, I think I would've been good at it.

The stair master. I feel miserable just watching people do it!

Okay I know you don't mean 12 inches of snow. You mean rain, right?

The 12 inches of snow was mine. And it actually was not 12. It ended up being 26 inches! Plus another 6 in today. Sad

12 inches of snow would be crazy for CA. But 12 in of rain would be a scary amount! Floods everywhere! :shock:
