Bedtime jumping

For the past few months, Jack has been jumping/bouncing in his crib every night and sometimes he'll go literally for hours! He jumps up, lands on his but then bounces up to standing then does it all again. I have to go in to settle him down numerous times before he finally falls asleep and it's getting to be super tiring, the bedrooms are on the second floor and right now climbing up and down over and over again is hard. I try to make sure he's burning his energy out by going outside and letting him run, but it seems like he has endless energy for jumping every night- and at nap time too!

So, today I looked on Amazon and saw this (looks like the price went up just after I ordered, I got mine for 31.00!) so he can jump in that instead of his crib half the night! I can take it outside too, so I'm hoping this will help little jumping Jack get his jumping fix in during the day!

That is too cute! I hope it works. Smile I wish we had room for something like that, but the play room is stuffed to capacity as it is now. Where will you put it?

I'm not sure yet where I'm gonna put it, the living room isn't very big but not that small either, so hopefully I can put it there without it taking up too much space, or maybe even DH's music studio in the basement, then he can bounce to daddy's music lol Blum 3

Lyla loves jumping too, but we have never let her jump on her bed. I'm guessing if she was in a crib she would hang on to the rail and jump too. Hopefully he can get his jumping done, before bedtime.

Have you ever thought of putting him in gymnastics? Lyla does gymnastics once a week and is really excelling on the trampoline.

Carrie has one of those for Sophia - she got it last year for her bday.

I was thinking he may like one of these.

Deacon holds the side of the crib to bounce too - I've wanted to get him that trampoline. You get it and let me know how it works out. Blum 3

That looks like fun. I bet he'll love it. Please KUP on how it works out! Aasha keeps taking about how she wants to jump on a trampoline.

Tisha - for how long has Lyla been taking gymnastics classes?

She started in March. Yesterday the teacher had her on the super springy trampoline (she hasn't let others in the class try it yet). She was holding Lyla's hands and bouncing Lyla higher than her own head. Lyla was fearless and wanted to do it again.

I saw this at sam's club, and kind of want to get it.

Good idea lol, he probably would love gymnastics! I think we have a place right up the street I should check it out.

you'll have to let us know how it works.. so is he still jumping on the bed Wink

Jenn my friend has one of those trampolines Claire was using it when we were there last. I think its a short lived interest thing. But the enclosure ones I think are more fun... I just don't have the room

Did you know Amazon will hike up their prices of products they think you're interested in? You have to clear your cookies with them if your price shopping otherwise everything goes up. Airfare website does that too. Jerks.

That bouncy thing is super cool! Is it really bouncy like a trampoline? Ava would love that.

That's interesting, I didn't know Amazon did that, talk about sneaky huh?

Yes it's supposed to be trampoline bouncy, I'm hoping it'll be here either today or tomorrow and see how he likes it, I'm sure he's gonna love it because he tries to bounce on everything including my lap!

Be sure to update with what you think! That would make an excellent birthday gift! Can't beat the (original) price too! Wink
