As I've been promising Ashley, finally here are pictures of Colby's Nursery. I did not have it ready before he was born, since he surprised us a bit early. I used the same crib set as I did for Jackson, but I changed the colors. I wanted to make it a bit different from when it was a nursery for Jackson. Here's what it looked like before Jackson was born, http://afirefamily.blogspot.com/2008/10/4-weeks.html
The banner is from etsy.
I use the buckets for blankets, bibs, etc now. He'll be able to use them for toys when he's older.
This is an accurate picture of what the wall color is. It's a very muted grey/blue. I love it, it's very calming. I was planning on doing this wall color no matter what I was having. It's a shade and a half lighter than my office wall color, and I just love it!
I took this in February when the Almond trees were in bloom. Remember, I've had a vision for this nursery in my head for a LONG time!
A 16 by 24 canvas.
AND not to be left out, here's Jackson's room
The view as you walk in the door,
Jackson is just starting to use his buckets for toys. This picture is a picture my uncle took, who is a photographer as well
The magnet board I made with an old frame that I spray-painted navy.
I wanted to get a picture of Jackson's precious "bunny." He loves this stuffed animal, and I just learned this week that bunny is a "she." LOL.
His desk and dresser we just got this winter from Costco. Obviously the changing table moved into the nursery and Jackson then needed some furniture. I didn't take a pic of the dresser, but it matches the desk.
