Crafters, I need help!

I'm going to make something similar to this for Baby Girls room

I got the wooden letters and 8x10 art canvas that I'll cover in fabric. My question is what do you think is the best way to attach the letter to the covered canvas?

sounds like a good question for Ashley Smile I would probably try hot glue, but haven't done anything like this.

Those are super cute!!!

Hot Glue might work?! I don't know, I guess depends on how heavy your letters seem? If you have a glue gun on hand it'd be worth a try!

I would use something called Quik Grip or E6000. I have both on hand and have used both for gluing glass and wood together. The E6000 has quite a few warnings on the back (in CA is known to cause cancer, etc), so maybe I'd use the QuikGrip in a well ventilated area. It's not as stinky as the E6000.

Thanks Ashley! I knew you'd have the answer. I'll let you know how it turns out and of course I'll post pics. Smile The letters are pretty light so it should work just fine. I found those letters on etsy and each letter was $18. I purchased all of the supplies for less than $30.

Wow, that's such a great idea! We're working on re-doing the boys' rooms, I might have to steal this. (;

Here is the almost finished product. I need to glue the letters down tonight and then I'll be done.

Oh my goodness, that's adorable! I'm always interested to see pics of people I know doing crafts like that - sometimes they look awesome when a pro does them, but are actually really hard to pull off. It looks awesome though, and looks just as good as the original ones you based it off of! I love the guitar print- that's probably my fave!
