Father's day is one week before my husband's 40th birthday. I'm not exactly sure what I will do for him, since I just bought him an expensive electric razor for his birthday. I thought about taking the girls out for a father's day photo shoot. I will probably have the girls make him some art work for his office. We will just see what he wants to do that day. We had been planning on the dads in the family taking the kids out and spending the night in tents with the kids. We have so many things going on right now, that I don't think this will happen.

Not sure about gifts. Will probably get DH a gift card to Home Depot, he has been wanting an electric hedge trimmer, but I don't know which one. This way he can pick out what he wants. Found a little questionnaire of things Josh thinks his daddy likes, it is funny to read his answers. Not really sure what to do for my dad.

We are going to spend the day at Dutch Wonderland with my dad and his family. I think this is going to be a traction for us. We did this last year too.

Nothing. We don't really celebrate it or Mother's Day. I'll call my dad to say Happy Father's Day. Andy's leaving town for work at 4:00am that day, so we won't see him at all and we won't get to talk to him until that night. The day before we're going to a birthday party an hour away, so we won't be able to anything then, either. Maybe Friday night can count? We're taking Noah out to dinner and to see Madagascar 3 at the theater next Friday.

I got Dali this little tool and I'm probably going to get him some flowers, as random as that is. I made a joke about getting him some flowers, and he said he's like that. I think he liked having fresh flowers in the house when he got me tulips for Mother's Day, they were so beautiful. So I'll get some flowers and balloons and give him the tool and have the kids make cards, and we'll take him out to lunch. Nothing too crazy. Biggrin

Ashley, let's here your ideas, you always have something cute up your sleeve.

we are going to celebrate Ash's birthday and Father's day at the same time. I think we are doing a brunch Sunday and then maybe go to the zoo or something in the afternoon. I got both Ash and Charley tickets to a Lakers basketball game (GREAT seats) for next season. I give each of them one ticket...sorta has been a tradition for a few years.

HA - I've got nothing! Each of the kids will wear their clothes that say something about daddy. Miles has a shirt that says "I LOL!! I guess I'll make sure I'm extra nice that day. Maybe I'll make him breakfast. Guess I could have the kids make up a card and ask Miles what he loves about daddy and write that in there.

Dani- can you post up the questionnaire?

I have been making little videos of Lyla every now and then. I ask her questions, or she tells a story about a recent event, etc. The videos are so fun to watch. I would love to make dh a father's day video from Lyla.
