Just wanted to let you know that we have come back home. We are living with the bare minimum when it comes to necessities but it was a decision that I needed to make.
Emma spent the past two days crying, she is stressed beyond belief with 2nd grade already and all she wanted was her own bed in her own house. So even though we have no heat (which we don't need) no air condition, no gas and no hot water, I decided it was in the best interest of the girls to come home.
It was uncomfortable for me but they are so happy to be home! We should have hot water tomorrow and maybe the air will be fixed sometime next week. It is still so hot and humid here that it is uncomfortable but we are dealing.
The repairs are going to cost a fortune and after all is said and done it's more than the insurance will provide so I will probably have to wait for my washer and dryer for a while.
None of this all matters knowing the girls are happy now.
On to other things,
2nd Grade, maybe the end of me!! LOL!! Today is the 4th day of school and Emma's homework took 2 hours. She had to write 8 of her 15 spelling words in a sentence. OMG, it's so much work for a 7 year old and so fast. Her teacher is not even showing compassion for our circumstances, she sent home a second reminder about Emma not having enough sharp pencils.
I wrote the teacher a note explaining to her that we didn't have access to any school supplies at the moment and would make our best attempt to get it done. Somethings just blow my mind.
Well that's all for my update. Thank you for all the support and prayers. I am so blessed to have the support of all of you behind me!
