latest project... (OT)

So I've been working on this on and off for a while. I just loved to colours and the buttons and the pattern was pretty easy to follow. Its the biggest project I've done knit wise, I usually prefer to crochet big stuff as it goes faster Wink Of course now Claire wants one .... lol I told her maybe for fall, the pattern only went up to 24months/2t so I'll have to get creative and add some rows to make it 5t Wink

Hope the pics work (and you can all see) with the new FB format I'm trying to figure out how to do this. Sorry they are so BIG

Hmmm I'm not sure if I should take offense to that word ^??? I know of a word that's spelled N.E.I.G.H.B.O.R Wink

Obviously the first time I spelled the word colors incorrectly in my first post Wink LOL

Okay..I know how to crotchet, but it is time for me to learn to knit and quickly since I have a little girl I want to dress up and a tight budget. Any suggestions on good starter projects? I know how to basic knit a straight chain. I tried when I was younger but quit before I really figured out the tension thing.

I LOVE to knit hats. Ashley and I knit a bunch of hats from the Itty Bitty Hat book

in it you knit in the ROUND with circular needles.

this poncho was actually a pretty easy pattern just a lot of work involved This is the book and it has the crochet dress I made Addi in it to (scan down the page to the second pic) that pattern went faster

I like http://www.ravelry.com you can look up free patterns and some you can buy. you can look based on Age, yarn type, even your skill level. Sometimes I just go on there to see what I can find. its free to sign up for an account. I think I'm going to try some headbands next Wink you might want to try a little sweater or dress.
