Need some T&P's

Hi ladies, I know it's been awhile and I don't know if you remember but I posted a few months ago about getting a spot on my shoulder checked out, well that went pretty good, they looked at it and said it was a benign growth so I was relieved about that. Now though I have been going through some serious health problems and am kind of scared. I went for bloodwork and my liver tests were elevated and liver was enlarged so I had to see my GI doctor (gastrointestinal), and he ordered an ultrasound. When I was getting my ultrasound the tech went and got the doctor and then told my my duct that goes to my liver is halfway blocked with "something" and they aren't sure what it is. I have in the past had problems with my pancreas with infections and had a lot of procedures in Boston, but this particular duct has never shown abnormal until now. So, I have to go through more tests. My spleen is also enlarged Sad I've been feeling so tired and weak and trying to take care of the kids has been tough lately, Sean helps as much as he can though. I got more bloodwork done yesterday and will probably talk to the doc next week about what needs to be done next, oh and I have to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy next month, not looking forward to that.

If you read this far thanks for reading, I'm kind of just rambling and venting. I'll update when I know more.

Thanks you guys, well I got a call last week and by looking at the blood tests he thinks I have celiac disease and he also strongly suspects crohns disease too. That would explain a lot of my symptoms, last night was horrible, I was up all night with body aches and shooting pains in my joints. I hope they can give me some answers on Friday when I have the colonoscopy and endoscopy. I'llupdate when I know more.

Celiac is where you need to eat gluten free, right? Have you tried eliminating gluten yet? I know a couple of people with celiac if it's what I'm thinking of. At least, on the positive side, if that's what it is, it can be controlled by diet. Crohns I don't know as much about but I know it's not as easy to manage. I hope it's not that, but at the same time it would be nice to at least have some answers I'm sure. Maybe you can get rid of a lot of the symptoms by eliminating gluten? Still praying for you...

Yup celiac is a gluten allergy, my DH has it so we already eat a lot of gluten free food, but I would really miss regular bread, especially the italian loaf! They told me not to start eating gluten free until they do the endoscopy because it could cause my intestines to heal and cause a false negative when they went down to view to see if there's any celiac disease damage, so I'm gonna eat all I can of my bread now for a few more weeks anyway! I go August 10th for the colonoscopy and endoscopy, they rescheduled because my doctor had an emergency that week.
