Not much. Work and preschool and daycare. We seem to be getting over endless colds and sickies, I hope it stays that way for a bit.

Do you have anything special planned this month?
A lot of things. Aasha's birthday and party. We're having the party at a local park building and have hired a princess to perform. She doesn't know. She's princess obsessed. We also have a couple of Diwali celebration dinners to go to (it's a big holiday festival for us). And then Thanksgiving ...

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
Our Tday tradition - we'll be going to my parents, in Illinois.

If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring?
I'm sure I'll help my mom with the cooking. The menu is a mix of sort of traditional, and not. We're vegetarian, so no turkey. But we make the usual side dishes.

Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular?

No plans. If I go, it'll be a last-minute whim. I don't remember the last time I went shopping!

Not much. Just busy with DH traveling all.the.time. Thank God he was spared from traveling this week--he would have been caught in the Hurricane Sandy mess, smack dab in the middle. Oh! We did get a new bedroom set. We've never had one before--our bed was 30+ year old boxsprings, 10+ year old mattress and a free frame that you get with a new mattress. DH's clothes were in plastic bins from WallyWorld and my dresser was the one I've had since I was born. I'm super excited about it and loving it!
Do you have anything special planned this month?
Noah's birthday--I'm taking the day off work to be with him. Not sure what we're going to do. No party or anything planned though. DH will be in NY, so it'll just be Noah and I for his bday.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
I'm taking Thanksgiving week off work (well, almost; I have to go in on Mon and process payroll). My family is coming to stay with us--my parents, gma, brother, SIL, and their 3 kids. The day after Thanksgiving we're ALL going to the Polar Express. Smile I'm really looking forward to it all. My mom is coming the Sat before and staying til the Sun after, my gma is coming Mon-Mon and my dad/brother/SIL/kids are coming Wed-Sun. We will have a full house, for sure.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring?
I'm making the whole dinner, minus the dressing. My MIL/FIL are coming over to our house and MIL will bring the dressing.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular?
No Way! That is SO not for me. Maybe online?

What's new with you and your family? Not too much right now, still busy with work, DSD and her puppy are still living with us though she is talking about moving in with bf next year. Today is DH's birthday and then Z's is the 13th
Do you have anything special planned this month? Hmmm, no LOL we need to plan something for Z's bday, DH wants to do a weekend in Disney again but I keep telling him its too much and we can't afford it right now. Sad
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Don't know. Its our girls year with the inlaws. we have been invited to Adrienne's inlaws but not sure if I want to do that right now. Want to see what DSD Ash is doing for Tday, if she is with her bf, we may run away and go somehwere fun.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? Ehh, not sure
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular?

This pic makes the set looks small. It's actually quite large. We also got 2 nightstands, not just the one shown here. And I'm doing the exact same color scheme (the wall & curtain colors, everything!), except my comforter is white. I bought all the bedding, decor and everything about 4 months ago, then found this just last week. We got it brand new in the box off of craigslist for about $1000 less than purchase price. SCORE!

What's new with you and your family? Hmmm... nothing exciting. We had a weekend at home for the first time in months. It was amazing. We've been so busy lately that I couldn't sit sill and chill out. I decided to organize our basement.
Do you have anything special planned this month? Cora's birthday is the 11th. We already celebrated her birthday, so we will just do something small for her. We haven't gotten her any presents yet, seriously what is there to get for the second child. I'm thinking a potty training doll and some new panties.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? All of our normal plans were just thrown out the window. Dh's dad is coming to visit. The last time we saw him, Lyla was 5 months old. I told Lyla "Grandad" was coming to visit. She told me she doesn't love him. She has no idea who I am talking about, so we will be working on this. He has just never been much of a part of our lives.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? mashed potatoes I make great mashed potatoes, and it isn't Thanksgiving without them.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything in particular? No way! I want nothing to do with the chaos. I would rather pay full price, than be shopping that early and fighting the crowd.

What's new with you and your family? Nothing new. Same ole' daily grind.
Do you have anything special planned this month? My parents are coming for a week at Thankgiving, and we have two birthday parties (one of them is Deacon's!). Those are the highlights of our month!
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? See above. lol We will hang out with my parents, hopefully get some rest, and maybe get some stuff done around the house.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? I think we'll be eating at home but if I go somewhere I usually bring pumpkin pies or green bean casserole.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything inparticular? Heck yes!! You guys are missing out! My mom and Dali and I will be at the outlet mall when the sales start at midnight! Last year we couldn't go cause my parents weren't here so we didn't have a babysitter (and we aren't quite trashy enough to take our kids out for the sales). My dad is more than happy enough to stay home and sleep with the kids, so the 3 of us go get some deals! I LOVE BLACK FRIDAY. ha ha Two years ago I waited in line for an hour at Gymboree and got pretty much both kids' entire winter wardrobes for like 75% off. SO worth it. And the best part is going to Starbucks for a delicious drink in a Christmas cup after a night of shopping. Biggrin

I forgot to say that Dali and I save up all year for Black Friday shopping! LOL We are hardcore. (not hard core enough to camp out in a tent outside Best Buy for 2 days like some wierdos, but we do LOVE our Black Friday deals)

What's new with you and your family?
Not too much. Miles will be 4 this weekend. Vivi will be 1 the end of this month.

Do you have anything special planned this month?
This weekend for Miles' birthday we're going to some train show dh found out about. Then we'll go to Chuck E Cheese for dinner. Next weekend we're having a joint birthday party for the kids (A Princess & Pirate party).

What are your plans for Thanksgiving?
Not too sure yet. I think we'll be going to dh's parents...but I haven't heard any for sure plans. We'll get together with my side of the family the Saturday after.

If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring?
I don't know yet!

What's new with you and your family? Not too much. DH got promoted to a permanent Captain, so it's pretty exciting. I have been busy with work & the boys. We've been hanging out with friends we've made up here which is exciting to have couples friends with kids our kids' ages.
Do you have anything special planned this month? Nope, just Thanksgiving with my family and then a party for Donnie's great-aunt's 90th birthday that Saturday.
What are your plans for Thanksgiving? My family decided to have a non-traditional Thanksgiving. We're going to walk San Francisco or the Golden Gate Bridge in the morning and then just have drinks and appetizers together in the afternoon.
If you have to bring a dish to share, what will you bring? I will probably bring a bottle of wine and something for the kids to eat.
Will you go shopping on Black Friday? If so, for anything in particular? No, I probably won't go unless one of the kid's presents is on super-sale. We'll probably go low-key this Christmas since Jackson just had his birthday and DH and I are going to Mexico for a week in Jan. I can't think of anything we *need*.
