Nada. We are off that day but all fireworks in this area have been banned due to the drought. We will probably stay home and do nothing. The 3rd is Justin's birthday so I have to see what he wants to do. The 2nd we have tickets to the Astros game. Should be a relaxing weekend. I can't wait to have the food at the game!

Well we are going to our annula Denali Hwy trip.. and of course Rain is in the Forecast !!!

we plan on leaving friday afterboon.... drive 150or 200miles (toward Paxson) then camp and if no wind blow up the raft and go for a paddle on a lake and fishing... then start the Denali Hwy ( 150 miles non paved road through the Alaska Range) we will camp 2 night on that road and hike and enjoy amazing scenery (glacier, high mt, wildlife) if the weather is nice... DH work "gives" them Tuesday off so we will be back sometime Tuesday !!!

Camping in summer here is 24h daylight and let me tell you making Florian sleep is more than a challenge !!! since I can't make the tent "dark" !!!!! and sleeping near a make where swans, birds sing all night and Beaver keep on flapping their tales keeps him very much awake ROFL
I'll post when we come back !!!

OH AND ON THAT TRIP WE ARE GOING TO SEE VERY FEW PEOPLE !!! stay away from any 4th july festivity and just enjoy our family in wild Alaska!!!!!!

No plans the whole weekend. DH will be studying most of the time so I'll find some way to entertain the girls and I. Mainly just looking forward to hanging out with them! Since going back to work I feel like I never see them.

So excited!!!!!!!!!!!! We have all of my family coming up this weekend for our 2nd annual camping at our house. Friday, happy hour. Saturday, farmers market, shopping, swimming, mexican food happy hour/dinner, and just relax. Sunday, breakfast by the pool, swimming, horseshoe & bocce, wine tasting contest, my uncle's trivia contest, I made popsicles, and we're doing BBQ. Sunday, basically the same thing and then most are leaving by evening. Fireworks that night for the few who stay. Basically it will be a relax weekend by the pool, lots of people to hold Colby so I can relax too, and cousins to entertain Jackson.

Jenn, Magali and Kristen, it sounds like y'all have fun plans! I can't wait to hear all about it. We don't have anything planned really. We might go to a friend's pool on Sunday and maybe Monday, but that's all we have going on right now. We'll probably end up putting together a last minute BBQ for friends and family who don't already have plans, but we'll see.

Hope everyone has a great LONG weekend!

The weekend will be pretty much our normal weekend. Josh has swim lessons on Saturday mornings now, then lunch out. Sunday, grocery store. On Monday, we are going to my dad's annual barbeque and you can see the fireworks from his house. Not sure if we will stay for the fireworks yet, because my dad lives 40 minutes away and the fireworks start at 9, about an hour after Josh's normal bedtime, but I'm sure he would love them.

Not much going on here. We will have friends over Saturday and have a bbq and the girls will go in the pool, Sunday the same friends are coming back and we will take the girls to the sprinkler park. DH is having work done on the car Saturday, and Sunday he works.

Monday I will take the girls to the sprinkler park by myself and just enjoy that it will be empty (hopefully). DH is working 7-3. The fireworks in my town are amazing, worst part is people come from all over the township and traffic becomes a nightmare, and my neighbors have a very loud, rowdy and late bbq. Last year their bbq ended around 3AM!

I'm not sure if we will watch the fireworks from my driveway or attempt to walk to a closer spot since I'm still in a cast.

No matter what the girls and I will enjoy the weekend.

We are leaving in the morning and camping for a week. Well, hopefully in the morning, it takes me forever to pack. We have lots of fun things planned.

We're going to the parade at 9:30 am in downtown Plymouth on the 4th, last year they didn't have a parade for the first time because of funding, and I haven't been to one since I was a kid so I'm looking forward to it! Then we'll probably just hang out at home and cook on the grill, we're not much for going to the fireworks, it's just a crazy scene with drunk people & traffic everywhere and too much chaos and trouble so we stay home, it's much safer lol.

We went out to CA to see my family--my gma's in from out of state, my brother and his kids came up. We just hung out, napped (YAY!), went swimming, bbq'd, watched movies, made s'mores...nothing too exciting, just relaxing. I just hate the drive--this time we were able to make it in 6 hours each way, but normally it's 6.5-7, depending on Noah and traffic.
