What do YOU want for Christmas?

Not too much, a new vacuum, a flat iron, some clothes or money for clothes, some money for Kindle books. I'm not hard to please at all.

I want my Baby K'Tan carrier (which I ordered myself from Jus and got it yesterday) and I want this charm from the kids. I like that it kind of symbolizes both of them at the same time.

Jus and I are sharing the main gift of a new Nikon camera. We needed something faster and better quality than the point and shoot we are currently using.

Other than that I don't want anything really. My mom is getting me a few childproofing accessories for my car - rubber floor mats and a seat cover. That's all I wanted.

You gotta be specific there - at least in my family! LOL Even down to "this is the store I buy my clothes from". Ha

Totally agree about being specific for clothes Jenn! I don't ask for them anymore unless I pick them out myself! I've been with DH for almost 11 years and for several years I'd get these ugly sweaters from MIL for my birthday and/or Christmas! They maybe weren't so horrible but they just weren't my style at all! And I"m kinda a plain jane when it comes to clothes!

For me I want a Nook Color or Kindle Fire, haven't decided between the 2 yet (opinions welcome!). A small video camera, which my mom ordered the Sony Bloggie for me. For DH's side I asked for the remaining pieces of my Willow Tree Nativity set, some Bare Esentuals eyeshadow sets and can't remember what else. I'd love to get a new DSLR camera too but I'm not sure DH is going for that yet. We may get a new laptop though.

Amy - I read a bit on the Kindle Fire (before buying Jus one for his recovery) and it sounds awesome. He got it last week and has used it non-stop. He really likes it and so does Deacon. I don't know anything about the nook though so I can't compare the two.

What I really want is a vacuum that works fantastically well on bare floors. Any suggestions, anyone???

But DH and I decided to give each other a couple of small things, so I gave him two ideas. I want this pillow. (It's $19.99 at BB&B and we have a $5 off coupon) And I want one of these hanging jewely organizers...they have really cute ones at TJMaxx for $15. I showed the one I want to DH about 10 times but I'm sure he won't remember. The funny thing is, if it were the opposite all he would have had to do was glanced at it and I would have noticed, remembered, and gone back to buy it the next day. Why are men so clueless???

I am also in desperate need of some new earrings, but DH has a knack for picking out some really strange jewelry (or super fancy, like when am I ever going to wear that jewelry) so I think I'm going to have to pick those out myself at some point.

Carrie - you guys need to get on our system this year and buy your own gifts. Its our first time to do it and even though there will be no surprises - there will be no fake happy reactions either. ROFL

Justin was going to buy me an over the range microwave this year. Yes, I do want one but at the same time why is it MY gifts that are always appliances?! So 1950's!

I want a new job!

Actually, I don't want anything because I don't get anything. Smile None of us adults exchange gifts, so I just don't even "shop" to figure out what I want--I usually just buy it as I need/want it (within reason) and call it all good. Although, we did have to buy a new printer and a camera because I broke ours. Sad I guess that's our Christmas, lol.

Thanks Jenn! My dad has a Nook so since he comes home today I'm going to play around a bit on his and see how it is!

I have bought my own gifts for years. DH is clueless the only time I don't is when the girls actually say something to him because there were a few Christmas' and bdays that I got nothing and the girls didn't understand why so I made sure that will never happen again. I have an Amazon wish list with all of the specifics I want.

I LOVE getting appliances and house stuff for holidays and birthdays there really is something wrong with me, my FIL tells DH all the time that he doesn't realize how lucky I am, the amount of appliances and stuff I ask for he could buy me a new house with what he has spent on jewelry on his ex wives.

IF DH would only wake up and realize it! HA!

ETA - I like the Kindle better, I have this thing with believing that Amazon will out last Barnes and Noble, and I can use the kindle apps on my iphone and ipad and ipod touch.

I'd like a new vacuum, a shelf/cupboard for over the toilet, gift cards for new clothes, a mothers charm necklace, and...thats about it. Maybe some sleep.
