Do you ever find yourself using board acronyms in emails or notes to others?
Ha - this is what made me think of it:
me: well, could I be a SAHM, that's all that matters
Justin: what is SAHM?
me: ha ha ha stay at home mom
Justin: oh goodness you and your web speak!
me: i was on the board just now...so i forgot to switch back to normal person mode
I try hard not to but sometimes find myself using DH for Charley...then have to go back to fix it!
I feel like I have but can't think of any specifics. It's very seldom!
Ha ha, Jenn! That's funny! And, FWIW, I think you'll make an excellent SAHM!
I'm with Kristen. I probably have, but I can't think of any cases off hand. I don't think it happens frequently.
I know I do it a lot but I end up correcting it before I send the email.
I do use lots of of things like IVF and PCOS and people look at me crazy. I just assume everyone knows what IVF is and its weird when I have to explain.
I've done it occasionally, but then corrected before sending it off. I wish I could use the acronyms with everyone! Even verbally, lol. They need to get with the program so I don't have to spell it all out with them. Since we are TTC, sometimes I wish I could just say to DH - we need to BD a lot this week! :). I'm sure he'd be super excited by that sexytalk.
I do it all the time and then have to go back and fix it.
