What are some meals you make regularly for your family for dinner?
Frozen pizza or homemade pizza
Mozzarella and Basil and Tomato sandwiches
I use to make chicken all the time but Jus randomly decided he doesn't like chicken anymore.
Green salad with Crumble blue cheese or fete with Olives, dried cranberries homemade dressing
grilled red meat and brown rice and some green veggies...
salmon with brown rice....
Green Bean Hotdish
This summer we've been grilling lots of pork chops and steak (we buy in bulk from local farmers so trying to use some of it up) so then we just make a veggie and potato to go with it.
Chicken & broccoli
Fish & brown rice
Meatballs & edamame or vegetables
Pesto or some sort of pasta
Homemade pizza Seriously my new favorite dinner, we're having it tonight topped with grilled sausage, pesto, tomatoes, and mozzarella
Grilled sausage & peppers
Actually anything grilled lately, so easy.
Sean has celiac and we've just discovered a really good gluten free bread so he's now crazy about sandwiches (he's making some right now actually) but usually we have
Chicken rice and Swiss chard
Spaghetti sauce with corn pasta
Sausages and potato and veggie
Pork chops with salad and rice
Pasta and Red Sauce
Mac and Cheese
Pasta & Butter
Cedar plank Salmon and a veggie
Grilled chicken and a veggie
Ashley's Enchillada recipe
Okay, those last ones do not come from my kitchen, but we do eat them regularly.
LOL, Amber, it's not "my" recipe! But it sure is good!
Amber - I was about to ask what a tokyo joe's was and how you make it, lol. Chipotle - YUM!
Marinated Salmon or Ono, baked in the oven, with mashed potatoes and veggies
Shrimp fried rice (for Dali and Sophia, I don't eat shrimp so when I make this I eat something different, I won't even eat around the shrimp because I'm that grossed out by shrimp)
Thin crust margarita pizza (for me and Sophia, Dali doesn't like it and eats something else like a Bertolli meal)
Easy Chicken and Dumplings made with Rotisserie Chicken
Grilled chicken with pasta
Lately we are eating a lot of "whatever we can find around the house", cereal, plain rice, just a bag of steamed veggies, just fruit, I mean the most random stuff, cause we are packing and moving and usually don't eat dinner until 8pm or later. So it's just like find something to eat quick and then get the kids in the bath.
They will forever be know as "Ashley's Enchiladas" in my house! I passed the recipe on to a few people and called them Ashley Enchiladas to them too! It's gonna catch on, just you wait! :biglaugh:
Do you guys not have Tokyo Joe's Down there? It's awesome! We make a homemade version and I call it Tokyo Amber's. But I'm lazy, so usually when I want it, I pay the professionals.
We also make Joy's Chicken tacos pretty frequently.
I forgot about one of our favorite lean-on dinners, antipasto platter! I.e. Cheese, crackers, & stuff
