Oh, you mean Charlie....Charlie Horse? LOL I told Deacon that that was his name, HA HA! Charlie is in there as a prop to make D think he is holding one of us when he reaches for us in the middle of the night. Hmmmmm, maybe I should have used a whale for me?!

YAY!!!!!! Way to stay strong even when it was hard, Jenn! Biggrin

I also thought it was hilarious how he is sleeping in the same position as Charlie Horse Wink Sophia sleeps with a huge dog from IKEA and I often find her hugging that thing to death in her sleep.

Not just dinosaurs....the T-Rex! You should see the face he makes when he says it. He says "T-rex" and scrunches up his nose and you can see all his top teeth - like its a fierce word to say. LOL

Yeah - because it was soooooo easy for me right? It's only taken us like almost 3 years. This new baby will be in her room from day 1. We are moving the crib in there this weekend hopefully.

Yay! Way to go Deacon! He's adorable, the way he's sleeping just like Charlie. Smile Even though we've not had huge problems with Jude sleeping on his own, he did regress a little after Cohen was born. It felt like Jude was an infant again with all the crying it out he had to do before he'd sleep okay in his own bed again. Just wanted to give you a heads up - hopefully it'll be a non-issue for you guys!

I hope its not too. I told him today how proud I am of him for sleeping in his big boy bed. And I said "when Sister gets here you will have to teach her how to sleep in her own bed too. Do you think she could have your old crib now that you aren't using it anymore?" He said yes Smile I plan to move her to the crib in her own room on day 1 and have him in his bed teaching her how to be a big kid - lol. I pray that works.

If I wasn't pg I would not have even considered it. However, with me not being able to get him in and out of the crib and Jus will be restricted soon with lifting we had to get it taken care of asap.

That's a great idea - I bet he'll do awesome since you've given him that sense of responsibility to teach his sister. Jude will do pretty much anything if I tell him I need him to show Cohen how to do it. Smile

I think I ended up having to have a stool next to Jude's crib to lay him down without squishing my belly, but I kind of wish we would've gone ahead and transitioned him before the baby came. I think making any big changes like that you can while you're still pregnant is totally the way to go. That way, the older kiddo isn't tying those changes to the arrival of the new baby, and you're not trying to deal with a transitioning toddler and complete lack of sleep.

I can't wait to see what a great big brother Deacon is going to be!
