What are you all up to this weekend? Anything fun going on?

Tonight, we're going to dinner, then shopping at Wal-Mart, then getting Noah's fish for his tank. Tomorrow, I'll be cleaning and getting ready for my parents' visit. They'll be here in the afternoon with 3 dogs (yikes!). We'll go to church and then to dinner. Sunday, we're going to a train park, then home to watch football and nascar. Monday I have to take them to the airport--they're going back east for a week, while we watch their dogs. Fun. They decided it was cheaper to drive here and back from CA, and then fly out from here and back, than it was to fly out of CA. At least it means we get to visit for a couple days. Smile

Tonight I'm dumping the kids with DH and going to see Breaking Dawn with a bunch of girls from work. I'm so excited!! I do feel a slight twinge of guilt at leaving DH with both girls on a Friday night, which is normally the night we go out to dinner as a family. But I told him that if he didn't want me to go, I wouldn't, and he told me to go for it, so I'm going for it! I haven't been to a movie in ages and I'm dying to see this one!

Tomorrow I'm taking Sophia to a coworker's house for a scrapbooking day (well, just a few hours, not the whole day) and DH is keeping Layla. The rest of the weekend will be spent cleaning house and decorating for Christmas.

Jessica- Is this his first Fish tank? How cute! I remember picking out fish when I was little. I loved it!

Carrie- Christmas decorations? Respect the turkey, man! Blum 3 I bet it's going to be a lot of fun decorating your new place! I'm forced to wait until after Thanksgiving. This year we;re doing our outside lights ater Thanksgiving, but not putting up our tree until after Andrew's Birthday party.

We don't have much going on. Ava has her dance class tomorrow morning. And we might go to an indoor trampoline place that they kiddos have been asking to go to. But other than that, it's just more of the same for us.

Jess-- we are going to get Z a fish tank too once we move -- our plan is to redecorate his room in his fish theme that we had as a nursery (but a little more big boy) and will get him an aquarium for where his changing pad went.

Today I have Court this morning then have to get some stuff at work done. DSD Ash is going up to pick up my brother today (thank you thank you thank you --otherwise I would have to make that drive in rush hour traffic)

Tomorrow we are flying out to Tennessee for the week -- DH, me, Z, and my brother -- the girls all will come out on Wed. We are visiting my aunt which I cannot wait for! Sunday she planned a "girls day out" where we are going to a local play production and out for dinner.

Getting my hair done tomorrow (roots are getting quite scary), then Sunday dh and I are going out for a fancy work-paid-for supper! I have to be good though--I started back on my diet on Monday, and I'm down 4 lbs! I don't want to mess that up!

Yep, his first fish tank! Noah is so excited about it. This morning we asked him how many he wanted (we were planning to get three guppies) and what he wanted to name them--he said he wanted two and would name them Nemo and Dory, too cute!
Amber, do you like those places for the kids? Sometimes I wonder if Noah's still too young/small for them.

Amy--that is exactly where we put Noah's fish tank--on his dresser where is changing pad was. Too funny. We're re-doing his room tonight too. I bought a new mattress and box spring last night and we're converting his bed from the toddler to the full size. I love that we got the convertible crib! When we moved, I got rid of all the stuff from the nursery and we're going with a sports theme--a plain red courderoy and blue denim comforter (red one side, blue on the other) with sports wall decor and accessories. That kid is seriously so sports obsessed it's ridiculous. I'll have to post pics when the room is finished. I still have to figure out how I'm going to paint the walls.
How fun to have a "girl's day"! Those are the best!!

YAY for you, Carrie!! I think that's awesome that you're going out!! Gosh, good luck going to that movie tonight. Do you already have your tickets? I can't wait to see it and think I might go next weekend by myself, maybe with a girlfriend. That's going to fun doing your scrapbooking--you'll have to show off your pages!

Love the names he picked out! Smile

Our trampoline place has a small side for little kiddos. They have 2 trampolines, a few BIG inflatable slides and a area with play houses, kitchens and that sort of stuff. I thought they were just for older kids too, but I went to a playdate there, and was pleasently surprised. the kids had a blast!

Sounds like good weekends for everyone!

We have 2 birthday parties tomorrow, and I have a mini session and am possibly missing one of them (unless it rains). Sunday I have another session. And we're frantically getting Janet's house ready because we're doing Thanksgiving and have all of my family staying the night.

Lyla has one goldfish and named it "Big Nemo."

At nap time Big Nemo always looks hungry so we give him a couple of pieces of food and Lyla gets in bed to watch him eat. She is asleep in no time, and without a fight.

We are taking the girls for their check ups, and getting ready for our big trip. We will go to dh's family for Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. We will either drive that night or start off Monday morning. Our friends are already on their way from Argentina, flying with twin 6 month olds. I am so excited!

We are celebrating Gabby's birthday tomorrow and also getting the house ready for Christmas while still respecting the Turkey, LOL. Sunday I hope to get the house cleaned up from the damage of having a lot of kids in the house on Saturday and start my Thanksgiving preparations, this is going to be a crazy weekend and right into a crazy week!

Lots of fun plans!!!

We've got nothing. Hoping to not have a baby this weekend. Wink

Amber, I usually don't put our tree up this early...but we put it up yesterday. I wanted it done before the baby comes. I didn't put any ornaments on it yet, just lights.
